I read the negative reviews before visiting this place, but my experience was quite different. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the coleslaw had a unique and delicious seasoning. While the prices are higher than at other places, it's understandable because they use dry-aged beef. The friendly service was a nice touch too! I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to the Gold Coast.
The first steak house in Goldcoast with luxury and best view without rush city vibe. We go Goldcoast many times per year and wish have a lunch or dinner at the proper restaurant for 2 and I had it.nThe service is so professional from the wellcome team to wastress, the table and chair so well organised.nFood coming so quickly not far waiting. Taste of steak so juscy and moise, nice. Specially in hot mustard sauce make your noise and tong burn at the first bite. My wife choose the cooktail and nice too.nRecommended booking in the first to void no space for you.nMany car parking underneath.nShould enjoy taste.

My husband has been coming to Cav’s with his family since he was a child, and ever since I moved from Japan in my 20s and met him, we’ve been visiting this restaurant together for over 20 years.nnAfter having children, we haven’t been able to come as often, but yesterday we visited again to celebrate my husband’s birthday.nnAbout 40 minutes after the kids’ meals were served, our steaks finally arrived, so it felt a little delayed, and I checked with one of the staff members.nUnfortunately, even though I had ordered my steak medium, it was overcooked — more like well-done and quite tough — so I was disappointed. But since it was my husband’s birthday, I tried to stay positive and not let it bother me.nnThen, one of the floor staff kindly came over to ask how everything was, so I told her honestly about the steak. She offered to have it remade, but since it had already taken some time and our children were getting tired, I told her that it was fine and we would just eat it as is. She then kindly offered not to charge us for it.nnSeeing familiar faces among the long-time staff always brings back warm memories, and yesterday was no exception — we truly felt happy to be there.nAlthough I did feel that the flavor of the dishes has changed a little over the years, I understand that such things happen.nnIf it hadn’t been for that floor staff member’s thoughtful service, we might have left feeling disappointed. I’m truly grateful to her.nThanks to her kindness, my husband and our children had a wonderful birthday celebration.nPlease pass along my heartfelt thanks to her.nnWe will definitely continue coming to Cav’s in the years to come.
Incredible! Great cuts of meat, we had the Rib fillet, 200gm and 340gm eye fillets, and all were cooked to perfection! Atmosphere was great, warm welcoming service, would highly recommend! Definitely coming back on our next trip to the Gold Coast.
