12.9.2024nArrived at 5.45pm as the first customer. The Waitress is helpful with our dinner order. Our four dishes are served quickly within 10-20 minutes. Food presentation is basic, taste is average and no better than the many Chinese restaurants on the Southside.nnWhile dining the workers were noisily setting up the tables/chairs and mopping the floor around us. Decor and atmosphere is non-existent and we left immediately after our meal. Prices are reasonable at $128 for two persons. Not sure if I will return to try their live Seafood dishes.
It is quite an HK style restaurant. Service is quite good. Food is well prepared, not as salty as most asian restaurants. Lots of dishes to choose from. Their beef with foie gras is my favorite dish.nThe environment is a bit disappointed, as there is a smell of cigarette smoking all the time.
Great seafood restaurant. Truly enjoyed their crabs, steamed fish, abalone and black pepper beef so good that we ordered two!nnTheir specially dish is the coconut chicken soup. Not my personal favourite but everyone in my group loved it nnReasonable prices but lack of English menu so preferable ask the waiter for recommendations and seafood availability of the day.nnService was quick and attentive though can expect be a bit of a wait during peak dinner time.nnHighly recommended to book a table especially on the weekends.
We came here on a Monday night and it was packed! You know the food will be hitting. Make sure you book when you come here.nnWe ordered 4 mains and 1 fried rice. The black pepper dice steak has got to be the best stir fry steak I have ever had. It is succulent, juicy, tender, amazing stir fry taste. It goes very well with XO sauce seafood fried rice. nnYou can’t really go wrong with their sweet and sour pork, it’s a great dish. We also got the salt and pepper squid, great combination too. The only thing we didn’t enjoy as much was the salted egg yolk chicken.nnThere was a hiccup with our order, they forgot our salted egg yolk chicken and when we asked them to cancel it, they said it’s already gone down the wok It was very busy so that’s okay. The food portion is huge, great value for the money.
I can see why there’s glowing reviews for this restaurant, it really deserves 5/5 stars. Every dish we ordered was cooked well and came out quickly. A lot of wok hei, which you can tell the chef is highly skilled. Price is fairly reasonable for the high quality seafood dishes we ordered, my favourite was soft shell crab with salt pepper. I’m not sure if there’s an English menu but the our menu was all in Chinese. The atmosphere was good and tables were clean, I would have preferred dining inside but eating outside reminded me of the hawker stalls you find in Asia. I’m going to call it now this restaurant is the best Cantonese/HK style restaurant in Brisbane. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.
