Found the nursing staff, Danica in particular, to be quite helpful, compassionate and informative. Dr Neha Choudhary had a good bedside manner. Well looked after. Enjoyed the morning tea and lunch provided too.

I recently was a day patient for elective surgery.  All staff, nurses in particular could not have been more friendly and professional. Patient with my questions and happy to explain any detail of concern. As my first time having surgery it was a nervous experience however the staff made me feel comfortable and it was a wonderful experience overall.  Despite the pressure on all staff due to Covid etc. they provided outstanding service and care.  Very Thankful

this hospital has lovely staff and even though the is a staff shortage they still manage to give you the help you need.

Day Surgery went well, Friendly informative Surgical Staff made my Short stay having a Skin Cancer removed stress free and Painless. Was in and out within 3 hours. Well dine and many Thanks.

I have had several day surgery procedures at Castlemaine Hospital, can't fault them. I have also been treated in emergency casualty, excellent care provided by everyone.

I had day surgery here on the 9th of November 2018. The staff where all so lovely and informative. Very attentive to me before and after the surgery. I was in much more pain the inticipated and they where more than accommodating, constantly checking in and making sure I was ok. It is a smaller, older hospital but I found it more homely & friendly then Bendigo Base. Thank you to all the friendly staff for making my stay the best experience possible.

Over the years I have had quite a lot of dealings with Castlemaine Health through family in hospital, rehab, podiatry, outpatients, and latterly with a dear friend in one of the nursing homes  within Castlemaine Health. In every instance everyone has been so caring,respectful, friendly and compassionate. this includes nursing staff, kitchen, cleaning staff: everyone.  I could not rate them higher and Castlemaine Health, to me are an example of what all hospitals should be like.

Really helpful and kind. Just a quick visit to emergency to check out injuries after a nasty fall. No imaging available on weekends so examination, ice packs, bandages and painkilkers before heading to hospital with x-ray available. They were all so nice to me.

Such excellent staff and care. Well organised, all my appointments have been on time, easy to find the places you need.

I had elective surgery and stayed overnight the nursing staff really were the best they made sure everything was fine with me and the hospital in general well cleaned.
