Wow , New Management, got to be OK.We took the menus to our table out front in the cool breeze & settled in for relaxing afternoon. Prices certainly looked good so we all 5 chose & ordered from the counter . My calamari came out after about 5 to 10 minutes, don't hold me to exact times because I wasn't keeping tab. I had finished my meal before my wifes chicken toastie came out, very tasty & good value she said. Then , my wife had just finished her toastie & our friends scrambled egg/tomato/bacon came out .Once again, very tasty and good value for money she said. Eventually the two other orders , 3 large pancakes with berries. no complaints there, both saying they were delicious & looked like the pick of the menu . So if you don't mind your meals not coming out together & a bit of a wait you won't mind this place . Now ,I have read the other reviews & there does seem to be a common problem. The manager has to realise we are here to give honest reviews so other people know what to expect . It is best that we do it by this site , rather than embarrass him & other customers in the cafe . also wasn't that busy as an excuse for delays & staff could be tought multi-tasking, & remove dirty plates on way past .
Oh my lordy!! Best sandwich I ever tasted. Freshly made on bread that tasted like fairy dust from the heavens melt in your mouth Delcious and fresh ingredients made this so mouth watering. So glad we stopped here on our travels. Support the smaller businesses in local area when can. This is well worth the drive. Will be back!!

This place is awesome! The food is perfect and perfect portions too, we both ordered the big breakfast. The staff and owners are so so friendly. There was a slight wait on food and coffees but it was totally worth it as everything is made fresh to order. We will definitely be back!
Unpretentious, friendly service & great food I spied this place when coming out of Morgans & decided to investigate as was in need of brunch. It was quite busy with a large table of locals being served so I had time to relax on a sofa & read the local Brisbane paper, for what it's worth ! I ordered a bacon & egg roll with a medium flat white to go for a reasonable price. My order arrived shortly & as one does I took it, returned to my car & drove off to a suitable spot with ocean views. I was pleasantly surprised to open the box to a sesame roll with an easy over egg that did not "leak", although I was given several napkins, & pieces of bacon, not the usually common greasy rashers one encounters. Coffee was also excellent & I did not suffer any regrets of consuming "fast food" I often get & kept me going until I reached home later in the afternoon.
This lovely little shop does do the best coffee on the peninsula I've tried many places entry share coffee and joyment this one is it.
I have passed this place so many times and never paid a visit. I went there the other day with my grandson and two pugs. It’s beautifully shaded amoungst the local trees. The premises were clean and tidy and had another table of 5, and the quality of furniture tables/chairs were excellent- many of the tables were hard wood and were in great condition and a great look. The waiter was the son of the owner and was very welcoming and chatty and brought a dog bowl of fresh water for the dogs. I had a flat white coffee which was tasty, hot and not burnt - but literally the icing on the cake was the carrot cake. It has to be the best textured and flavored carrot cake I have ever had which I understand is made at the premises by the owner. The rest of the cakes also looked delicious!! A great find, not sure why it’s not busier- but I will return
Great burgers, lots of gluten free,s vegetarian, diabetic and even keto options. Friendly service. Make you feel very welcome and a great cup of coffee to boot. My new favourite cafe in Scarborough, Brisbane. If you're up this way definitely pop on.
Friendly, quiet, pleasant staff wanting to please their customers. Food was delicious and fresh. With the cooler afternoon breeze coming on, we wanted to just sit outside with a 2nd coffee, put our feet up and read a book while watching the world pass by. But didn't have my book with me. Will next time though.
Amazing freshly cooked food. Generous serves. Had the scrambled eggs - best ever, so light and fluffy. Also yummy home made slices. Highly recommend.
