Nice restaurant with tasty 3 course menu! Quite affordable menu set near the hotel. Healthy and tasty choices for both of us who want something else other than pizza ! So glad to have some veges at last!
Happy hour cocktails before dinner were well worth the price. Garlic bread was well toasted and yum. Pumpkin risotto special was delicious. The barramundi was perfectly cooked. And we really enjoyed the Nutella panna cotta. FYI, the menu in the summer was very slimmed down; only 4 mains on the menu. This wasn't a bad thing though. Do a few things and do them well.
I had dinner at Cascades Restaurant in Thredbo Village during the 2020 Spring Snow season. The wait staff were very nice and friendly and super attentive. The food we all ordered was nicely cooked and presented and delicious. I ordered the fish and chips which was actually a whole trout on a bed of fries. Different but nice. My only gripe was the desserts.
Breakfast at Cascades came as part of the Thredbo Alpine Hotel room booking. It was only open for breakfast when I was there so I can't comment on lunch/dinner. Breakfast was good: buffet with decent variety, including cooked options. Friendly staff.
Cascades restaurant was on our todo list and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were helpful as we had kids little tired from skiing all day and didn’t need full meals - more sharing plates for entry and mains. The oysters and scallops are fantastic. Was a good night and great meal.
Had a lovely evening in the bar at Cascades on the 12th of November. Staff were so lovely, really went above and beyond in helping with a question in regards to Eagles nest restaurant even making a call to confirm if open the next day. Great atmosphere and fantastic espresso martinis. Didn't get meals here as above our price range. Were unfortunately closed the second night we wished to attend due to a gas issue.

Lovely place to go! Good French food! Awesome staff working there! It is a must go!
Great location where you can have your breakie in the shadow of the snow covered alpines... The mountain burger is a good option with hash and egg and the coffee is great too. The wait staff is very helpful
Great three course meal, see fireworks on Saturday under the roof after the meal.
