Welcome to Casa de Playa, Beach House Mornington. Originally built in the late 1800's & occupying the stunning heritage building of 39 Main Street, this former butchery has been transformed into an elegant contemporary venue.

Spread over 2 floors, Casa de Playa provides a range of entertaining, drinking & dining spaces; from the alfresco outlook on the Main Street frontage to the light filled Atrium on the first floor, there is a place for everyone to make themselves at home.

Coastal post-modern / industrial minimalist in design, Casa de Playa features beautifully crafted & locally produced furniture with colourful & vibrant soft furnishings.

Great food and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend for large groups who love a good chilled out lunch/dinner!
Do not order the ‘dos dips’ meal. The meal came out with ~6 pieces of charred bread and a tiny serving of philli cheese and “pickled beetroot”. This “pickled beetroot” was bland, BOILED beetroot with no taste or texture. I highly recommend not ordering this meal from the menu. Will not order again. However the calamari was AMAZING!!!
Didn’t have great experience. I ordered Tacos Chicken. Chicken was super dry. I came here before a week ago and it was really juicy and fresh. They are missing consistency. 2 stars for first experience.
Food was lovely and so were the cocktails the Berry Drop is delicious!. I would definitely come here again.
Absolutely brilliant. Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. Very impressed with service and not too expensive.
