We booked a table 08:00pm for New Years eve and was told at the time of booking that we would need to vacate by 09:00. Note: this is the Normal close time for most restaurants in Nelson Bay! The service was great, staff were helpful and even assisted each other. Two of us went for a family pizza thinking we would take the left overs for later, with another having chicken, mushroom and fettuccine. The fettuccine was great, fantastic taste and a good size although a little too much for 1 person The pizza tasted good but I could not say it was great. Luckily we ordered a "Family" pizza, in Sydney this one would have been a little smaller than a "Large" pizza and with the small amount of topping we had nothing left. In fact it was good the pasta dish was big, as we finished off what was left. Please note: we would each, normally eat 2 pieces of a "Family" pizza! - maybe 3 for me when I am hungry. The pizza was way over-priced for its size and toppings, it cost even more than a top quality Family Gourmet pizza would in Sydney.
Great Spanish tapas place in Nelson bay. Great service, delicious food. Slightly pricey but worth it. Nice cosy atmosphere, definitely recommend the set deals - great for a group of 4! It does quite warm and stuffy but overall great little place. The pastas are delicious and the entree potato is amazing!
I would prefer if the bruschetta had cheese that wasn't melted. My bolognese pizza tasted delicious but there was too much oil and grease. My toppings we're just sliding off in the middle. I wish there were other sizes besides large and family. I was only able to finish half my large sized pizza. Other than that everything was fantastic.
Food was good but the service was very indifferent. People arriving after us were served drinks before we were and drinks order was taken at same time as food order. There was no white Spanish wine available and there was no coffee available after the meal. No apology for lack of either. Would not return.
Excellent food. Tapas was beautiful for adults and pizza perfect for the kids. We will be back.
The best feed in a long time costing was good value for money nice and fresh food not a lot of variety but what they do have is nice the garlic bread is the best ive had in a long time but has to be hot when eatting
