Casa Cibo is my favourite local Italian place! Well priced with amazing food in good portion sizes. Their $15 pizza pasta deal is especially great value! Service is exceptional - even when they're super busy. The staff have always been charming and helpful.
Sadly the pasta in both the carbonara and the ragu were a tad undercooked; i like my pasta al dente but these needed a tad more cooking time, it ended up tasting starchy and unappetizing. The calamari was decent tho!
My second visit to Casa Cibo in 2 weeks. I enjoyed my slow roasted pork belly. My wife had a seafood pizza. When I saw her picking at it for the seafood only, I had to sample it. The seasoning was overwhelming for either of us. We ordered a bottle of chardonnay. This should have been the same from the previous visit. It came in a caraf and most definitely was a disappointing result.
Disappointing. 30 minute wait for our first drinks order at 7pm. Had to ask about our drinks twice before they arrived at 7.30pm. $30 crab fettuccine for main was very bland & not much crab. I've made tastier meals at home. Hubby liked his chicken al funghi for main. We tried to order dessert at 9pm but couldn't - kitchen closed not taking orders. How bizarre lol. Some notice about the need to order dessert before 9pm would've been handy. Only 1 out of the 4 lady's bathroom cubicles had toilet paper Water all over the basins, no paper towels or hand dryers & the hand sanitizer station was empty Vast improvements needed.
Had a wonderful meal with my family the waitstaff was extremely friendly and helpful. They had a very nice selection of wines and cocktails. I loved the chianti.
Decided to give this restaurant a second chance and it was a big improvement on my last visit. I had the crispy skin salmon which was very tasty. My mum had the chicken which she said was ok it just needed more seasoning. Food overall was nice but a bit overpriced. Staff are friendly.
LOVED the gluten free gamberi pizza. 2 for 1 pizzas on Monday! Came here with my partner I am gluten free and he is a vegetarian and we were very impressed with our gamberi & Margherita pizzas. Staff super friendly and pretty quick for a busy night. Only feedback is that the gluten free vegetariana almost had too much topping and wasn’t cooked properly.
The food here was good, nothing to really rave about as it wasn’t packed with flavour but it was honestly standard. The margarita pizza was nice, could honestly use more flavour for its $22 dollar price tag. Additionally, $28 for pasta carbonara is honestly very excessive considering it was about the quality you would receive at another restaurant that only charges $18 or less.. Service was friendly though and the food for our party of six came out super quickly so I can’t complain about that. If you want your food to arrive faster, order through the QR code on your table.
Absolutely stunning service by our server Neverti, got pizzas with my friend. The Italiano was absolutely killer. Wait time was also good . Will have to come back again.
Good one for a family lunch!! We ordered Vegitariano Pizza, Rigatoni Pomodoro!!! It’s a shame they close by 3PM on a Saturday!! Fries were not good, weren’t crispy enough!!!Recommended dishesCheesy Garlic Pizza
