A magnificent beer establishment, for either beering in, or takeaway. There are over 24 beers on tap, with a wide range of styles for all palettes. If you are unsure what is your style, and or want advice, have a chat to Matt. His knowledgeis exceptional.nnWhat if my other half doesn't like beer I hear you say. Well, there are cocktails, spirits and wine as well.nIf you're looking for take aways, there is a drool inducing range to choose from. I can not rate this place highly enough. I'll be back!
I really like this bar. It’s simple, comfortable, and does exactly what you want it to do. The menu focuses on burgers and snacks, nothing too fancy but solid, tasty, and not too pricey. We had the burgers and chips, and they were great.nnMargaritas were good too, and there’s a happy hour, which is always a bonus. There’s also a bottle shop at the front with a pretty decent selection.nnWhile we were there, a party was happening in the back. Good music, good energy, it looked like a great spot for a private function. Overall, it's just got a really nice vibe. I’d definitely come back.
Cool Thornbury bar and liquor store…. An amazing amount of boutique tap beers available and different areas to enjoy. Popular with the locals, great friendly service…. Would have been five stars if the table was clean….
One of the best $25.00 steak nights in Melbourne plus $5.00 glass of wine, excellent Pinot Noir for that rate ... near perfection.nnJust have to brush up on their customer service skills ... spend $150.00 in their bottle shop and still have to pay $15.00 corkage/bottle.nBar staff wants to know whether I've paid corkage???
Local gem people will travel to for their wine and beer options. Wide range of varietals with range of prices from reasonable heading towards premium ie $120 bottle you'd pay $300 for in a restaurant if their buyer could get it.nI had very specific requirements the other night and chose well apparently. on the right
