We attended a function at the hotel and needed a place to stay overnight. The motel was conveniently located right next to the hotel, making it a perfect choice for us. The rooms were clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning was just right. It was a good-sized room with plenty of space for our luggage and storage if needed.nnBreakfast was quite generous, which we really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again if we were passing through.nnAdditionally, my husband accidentally left a TAB ticket behind at the hotel. The staff were honest and returned it to him, which we were very grateful for.
Went there for lunch the other week and you don't get roast vegies with the roast so don't bother, and if you get the senior meal prepare to get the equivalent of a toddlers meal. The chef said pumpkin was too expensive at $35kg, so really tells me he couldn't be bothered so I won't bother either. Not impressed! Apart from that, staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Unfortunately the drunken crowd noise from the hotel car park which included car revving permits me from giving the location any more than 1 star. The room was good and the shower head was heavenly. Biscuits included for tea and coffee. The mounted TV off the wall is dangerously close to your head if you are 6ft tall. It is located over the allotted spot for opening your luggage and in fact one of the guys in our tour group banged his head on the TV badly.
Whilst attending Monday night Trivia ordered a seafood combination dish, was disappointed as 1. The chips were very salty 2. The taste of the salad was marred by the taste of olives which I do not like therefore inedible. 3. The crumbed covering of the 2 very small prawns was overcooked and hard. Not a good meal.
Very comfortable accommodation, really comfybeds and a good shower. Well-appointed room. Short walk across the carpark to the pub. The pub had a wonderful vibe each night we were there, and our meals were delicious!
