Reviews
Car villa Memorial Park is as beautiful as any other parks despite of it being a cemetery. This memorial park is specially dedicated to the fallen ones in World war 2, Gallipoli war and other brave hearts. Now it's being used for public use as well. Its about 10 minutes drive away from Launceston city town centre. There is a drinking water facility and toilets inside the park. Check out my pictures below and make out your mind.
Had a plaque for dad renovated. Was to take 6 weeks, 10 weeks later, still no answer. Hopeless to get anything done. Rude staff, not a good experience at all. Our loved ones deserve better
Staffs are so helpful. As we are in Melbourne they helped us in placing the flowers we sent.
Fabulous place even though people are dying to get there. Staff were wonderfully helpful. AND they have a Book of Remembrance. All boxes ticked. I cannot see why Botanical Gardens and Cemeteries do not combine in regional cities. Thanks again.
I have family buried here. The older graves can be weedy and contain dried flowers sitting in metal flower boxes embedded in the graves. There is a lot of interesting history you can infer from reading tombstones. A few sealed roads wind through the cemetary. There is a new extension to the cemetary all sealed and curbed. This area is quite grassy and well planned out. There is a trend towards cremation plaques and small memorials too.
Rose memorial garden an absolutely beautiful place, please bury me here.
