DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE, the school only cares about image and spends money on useless statues instead of genuinely helping children in their education, theu don't care about your kids! If your kids are getting bullied they wont do anything, most of the year level coordinators are TERRIBLE people.nThis school is about as useful as a white crayon, if i could give them 0 stars i would.
This school is horrible I warn everyone that that wants to send their kid here . They gave students punishment for supporting Palestinian and showing their political opinions. If you want to send your kid to a school that supports genocide, be my guest. They treat the kids like slaves and talk to them disrespectfully. The kids can hardly learn when they get bullied by the teachers.
DO NOT SENDS YOUR KIDS HERE!nstudent of caroline chisholm here, I am telling you from past experiences PLEASE do not waste thousands of dollars per year on this garbage hell, if you want your child to return home miserable and be exposed to terrible people be my guest. Firstly the teachers are absolutely terrible and do NOT know how to do their jobs they are absolutely incompetent, some bully kid had assaulted me as in dozens of slaps and punches and he got 1 day of in school suspension, and was let off hes the type of kid to vape and have lighters and use them in class AND the fight was ALL on the security cameras, yet the teacher refused to show it, i have a feeling the teacher was biased but thats not relevanthell I was gonna press charges if I could but sadly the police were not involved not to mention I got the same punishment suspension, sounds unbelievable and I promise you, I'm not twisting the story in my favour. that teacher is somehow in a high postion in the school aswell. After the scuffle they took us both aside and and took his statement as said they'd take mine later, then proceeded to NOT take my statment and just go to punishing us BOTH.nThe school does NOT CARE if you are being bullied, the only times it cares is if the parents of the student have the power and leverage to scare the teachers into actually punishing actions. The only good part of the school are the nice people I met at the wellbeing center and a few assistant teachers, I made this review so long after the fact as I am afraid administation will find out my identity, but if they do so be it.nSo I really do mean it when I say DONT PUT YOUR CHILDREN HERE,nSecondly the school only cares about image, to the point of silencing the views and values of their OWN students and representatives.nLastly the greedy school spends their money SO irresponsibly and only cares about money infact a while ago they spent a couple thousand dollars on a statue because it looked cool. So many teachers have left after they realise how trash the school is and the ones who haven't left are either people who cannot teach, or people who have all but given up.nSo for the last time DO NOT waste your money and put your child in danger by putting them in the care of the teachers of caroline chisholm, you are doing more harm than good by putting them here.nThis school is a TERRIBLE representation of the saint caroline chisholm, this school will makes angels weep uncontrollably.nnEdit: thanks for the response, I'd like to clarify THAT THE INCOMPETENT TEACHER IN A HIGH POSITION IS MY YLC and that the statue I am referencing is the water fountain.nnIf anythung this just proves my point on how nobody is aware of the crappy teachers at this school
Do not send your son or daughter that is not 100% sure what they want to do with their career to this school. Their careers teachers are useless, the teachers themselves see a lost kid and don’t bother offering their advice to a student that has no idea how to navigate themselves by making choices that they never had to make. Basically the school has a duty of care to help a kid find and make decisions and steer them in directions that can help with their career. For example there is a program called the Headstart program, this was never offered to my nephew when he really needed it and now his in year 12 and still trying to find a school based apprenticeship which he could have received all that help and an apprenticeship through the program 2 years ago. They only care about the money and the kids that are high achievers which make their stats look good!nMy nephew went to his careers teachers once and she just dismissed him like he needs to find and do whatever himself! Wow what a great example for a careers counselornI could go on and on but everyone needs a tradie from time to time and if we don’t support these young ones early on how to enter a trades qualification early then we will be left with generations of no plumbers, no electricians etc. etc
This school is very dirty. i went to the toilets and it is terribly poo. look at this toilet from the seniors toilets it is terribly poo.
