Carlton Family Medical is a family medical practice located at 88 Rathdowne St Carlton near Elgin St corner. We are very happy to register new patients and see visitors to Melbourne.

The general practitioners include Dr Meridee Flower, Dr Michael Lum, Dr Brooke Anderson, Dr Austin Chow and Dr Marie Spiroulias. They work together with practice nurse Heather and reception staff Sashi, Tina and Thuy We are located minutes from Melbourne University and Lygon Street.

All our doctors are very experienced general practitioners with excellent communication skills. Dr Lum, Dr Chow and Dr Anderson bulk-bill full time students. Dr Flower and Spiroulias provide shared care for pregnant women. Dr Chow is interested in sports medicine and minor procedures.

Depending on your GP it can be hard to get in, but the quality of care is fantastic and worth the wait. Maria and Brooke especially - remember you as a person and provide personalized high quality care. Even though I no longer live in the area I still travel to see them because it’s worth it!

Unbelievable rude！  never shoot a score lower than 3 on google before. One minute talk the reception lady had already pointed me” no patient” “ a international student can’t fully understand her words”but I’m not even a student and she know nothing about the vaccine then ask me to ask my friends the full name!!! Really unpleasant.  Luckily. I’m just looking for a place to get my vaccine done not illness. Or I may get worse.

I came in with a friend of mine and was served by kitty. I was so impressed seeing someone with ink and that look to be working there. She was so nice and helpful! It's so good to see a medical practice have such an open mind about different looks!

I have been seeing Dr. Marie Spiroulias for years. I have since moved out of Carlton but still make the trip to keep her as my GP. I find her honest, funny, personable, smart and dedicated. I am very comfortable with her and feel as though she has never judged me. She is extremely thorough in her assessment and follow up. You never feel as though she is rushing you. I recommend her to all my friends and family. The reception girls are lovely and so is Anna in pathology. They're all a friendly team!

If you are looking for a fantastic GP I would highly recommend Marie  Spiroulias. She is extremely thorough, knows her stuff and is very caring. She has often gone above and beyond for me for example she called me at home with results when I had a period of bad health. I particularly like that she is always happy to explain results, provide additional information and never rushes you out the door. Best GP I have found yet!
