On some occasions in the past I haven’t been happy with cost and service of various mechanics. Totally delighted with the communication, the service quality and the prices. I will be using them now and in the future and happy to have gone to them.
Good service and very friendly staff. Some people are leaving a bad review and talking about a rip off. To be fair: yes, you get a long list of things to do or to fix after the initial service but no one is forcing you to go with it. It's all your choice to get it done here or to go for another service. My service wasn't cheap but the car feels much better then before.
Very pleasant and kind receptionist and good communication but sadly....NONE of the jobs recommended by Carline mechanics needed doing. Left my car for a routine oil change and check and received a message on several issues that according to message could be rectified within half an hour for a discounted price of only 460 $. Refused the nonsense and had a second check in another garage recommended by friends. Absolutely NOTHING needed doing! According to the other garage items they listed are typical for scammers - clean here and there - where you can't even tell the difference. Also...a job that can be done within 0.5 h costs 460 $? [no specialized equipment and the only spare part involved was drive belt - perfectly fine as I later found - and that's a cost of ~30$ for the part]. Guess which garage I'm coming back to...
I recently moved to Brisbane and had no idea where to take my car. I took my car to Carline because of all the fantastic reviews and I couldn't agree more! The customer service and value for money is excellent! Anytime I am concerned about something they have been more than happy to help me out at a very good price.
I am very happy with the feel of my car after having quite a bit of work done. Feels like a new car. Id like to note that even though this was my first experience with this business I felt like a regular customer right away. Helen is lovely and is happy to chat. Great feeling family business. Will be back.
