Story

Caribbean Park is home to an iconic community market in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Since 1966 locals and visitors have been exploring the gardens and market stalls that have created childhood memories across generations.

Australia’s largest and best-loved community market is situated on almost 300 acres of parkland. It was once a handful of traders and has today grown into a bustling undercover market with over 1,000 stall sites, an almost 6,000 square metre pavilion plus a further 1,000 square metre area for outdoor stalls.

Open every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, Caribbean Gardens and Market is a variety market where locals and boutique businesses alike gather to sell their wares. It’s here where you’ll find everything from fresh produce to accessories, to household goods; there’s little wonder the market has been a destination for bargain hunters from around Melbourne and beyond.
