Carbon Group is a Sales and Marketing Company first, Tax Accountants last which includes making you believe your tax accounting is done to a high standard. In reality this couldn't be further from the truth they left out an entire depreciation schedule of a rental property I own (the depreciation schedule was provided to Carbon Group on first consultation) and other inaccuracies. The sales person you speak to doesn't work on your tax affairs personally it is handed off to other staff members with little to no proper communication. I only discovered these issues when they were pointed out to me by another Accountant someone who puts customers first before their wallet, someone who thoroughly checks the information given to them and if there is anything missing or questions unanswered asks for the missing information before lodging my/your legal tax return. Carbon Group want to appear on the surface to be the best place you could possibly get financial services but I disagree. If they grow they will probably outsource work to India and/or the Philippines etc. Caveat Emptor (I have written this on behalf of an immediate family member who doesn't use smartphones or have a google account)

Everything about these guys is Professional. From the advice they give us on structuring and running our business, to the way the manage our accountants. You can stop looking, you have found what you are looking for. Highly recommend

We've started our own franchise business with the help of Carbon on accounting/bookkeeping solutions and financing needs. Services have been tailored for us and for any cost sensitive business owners, The cost might not be the lowest, but you really get more than you paid for. In fact our accountant Steve didn't recommended us not to do certain things in order to save money. Our finance broker Julia got us very competitive rates from ANZ and has been keeping monitoring the progress the whole time. Would recommend to anyone PS: they have a funky office I really enjoy visiting

Carbon Group have been managing my accounts for several years. Nathan Hood has been my adviser for the last 17 years and is second to none. He is ethical and fair to all parties when negotiating contracts and deals. I started contracting 20 years ago and have had Carbon advising me during that time. I was able to semi retire at 43 due to the wise advice I received from Nathan and his team.
