Beware we extended our stay - I paid for an additional nights accommodation through booking.com, the host got snappy and advised I needed to pay them directly as our stay was only valid paying the motel directly. The host brought over their eftpos machine for my payment, which was processed and I then paid them directly for the accommodation, yet the admin then refused to accept the refund request from booking.com. We paid for our accommodation twice within 10 minutes. The booking.com payment was non refundable unless the motel agreed to accept the cancellation verbally but didn't honour the promise. An expensive night!!!! but very untrustworthy motel.
It’s impossible to contact the owners, no one ever answers and reception is a ghost town too! We finally managed to speak to someone when we saw a couple of lovely ladies doing housekeeping who were able to assist us. The mattress was very old. Toiletries in bathroom were cheap and nasty, made in china with a strong chemical smell. Would be nice to see them use some local/Aussie made products instead. Lots of people were smoking outside their rooms which was a real shame too.
Surrounding area at the entrance was very untidy and unkempt, we requested a king bed and was told yes and upon arrival it was a queen.nSpa was stained, aircon was from the 70’s and the whole vibe was a bit weird.
$189 for a run down rooms.room 7 needs a good clean dust everywhere. Dirt on walls carpet discoloured. Felt disgusting walking on .towel rails falling off bed u could see was sinking in the middle must be 20 years old.woke you with bits all over.would not stay or recommend to any one .seriously how can u charge 189 for one night.
The manager takes your booking and payment and when you arrive, there is no manager there and no booking in the system, then refuses to give a refund.nFamilies are doing it hard enough at the moment and want to enjoy a family getaway and this individual is trying to scam families and destroy their getaway. Avoid at all cost
