I’ll never forget this experience. The Capitol Theatre transports you to another world the moment you step inside.nnI had the opportunity to watch ‘The Lion King’, and it was truly unforgettable. The set design, the production, the theatre’s architecture, and the overall experience were simply spectacular. Everything was executed to perfection.nnIf there’s ever a play or musical you’re interested in, don’t think twice just book the tickets. The Capitol Theatre is an experience in itself, and one you shouldn’t miss.

Amazing experience  Went to see The Lion King here with my mum and honestly, what a show.nnThe Capitol Theatre itself is beautiful inside. From the moment you walk in, it has that old theatre feel to it, heaps of character, and the whole place adds to the experience before the show even starts.nnThe Lion King was incredible the costumes, music, performances, everything. Never seen anything like it before. There were even a few moments that had both me and mum a little teary eyed, for obvious reason relating to certain scenes.nnWas my first proper theatre experience and definitely won’t be my last. Note that food, drinks, and snacks are priced accordingly, dont expect budget prices.nnGreat night, great venue, unforgettable experience

We went to the Capitol Theatre in June to see the Lion King Musical and it was amazing. The production itself in such a beautiful theatre.  Seating was great. We had VIP tickets and it was so worth it. What a wonderful theatre. Easy to reach from Central Station and the acoustics, light and the bar service etc. Was amazing. Getting in and out with tickets and finding our seat was quick and easy. Well done - highly recommend watching a musical or show in this incredible theatre.

My family of 4 visited the Capitol Theatre to see The Lion King. It was definitely an experience!! It was fantastic to be able to experience a show in such an old building that has kept its history. As we sat and waited I googled the history of the building and appreciated it more with this information. The decor is a bit overwhelming at first, but as you look around you can see the work it must've taken to maintain and restore this charming old building. The outside area is quite tight for the amount of people for the venue and the queues were big for the bathroom. Thankfully we didn't need to go.  It was definitely great to go to this theatre, but I wouldn't be rushing back when comparing it QPAC's Lyric theatre. But this is just a personal preference. The staff were lovely and helpful.
