My daughter and I went to see Chicago here. We were in row M and were happy there, but then someone tall came and sat in front of me, so I couldn't see. I went to see if they had booster seats but they only have them for kids so the lady usher went and checked for me to see if she could move us, we ended up being moved to row D. I was so thankful that the lady helped me to enjoy the show. The theatre is stunning. The show itself was Fantastic, we enjoyed the whole thing. The cast was amazing. It was so nice to see Anthony Warlow applauding the other cast members after their solos. I would highly recommend seeing this show.
Excellent theatre. Seen so many shows here throughout the years. Beautiful decor, with opulent vibes. The seats are comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are multiple bars, including the one upstairs. There's no cloak room service, but I don't really mind. Usually every show would have at least one backdrop setup to take photos with check upstairs too. And the merch are nicely displayed in the lobby, I normally get the program to show appreciation towards and know more about the cast, musicians, and crew. Overall, highly recommended.
The theatre itself is beautiful!!nWent to see sister act last night, was EXTREMELY disappointed.nCostumes throughout the show were minimalistic being the set which I understood. The finale costumes were incredible! No encore, which I can understand why.nNot one song from the original film, really was a let down. Researched to find that this is due to copyright issues. Not one song throughout the production I knew. I have been to multiple shows and left this one feeling very misled. Advertising for this being sister act needs adjusting. I will make sure to do my research prior to booking tickets for future shows. We came a significant distance to see sisteract and spend a night in Sydney, thankfully the staff and hospitality surrounds made it a memorable night.
Just watched Grease in Capitol theater! It was an electrifying experience! From start to finish, the energy on stage was contagious, with outstanding performances, catchy tunes, and nostalgic vibes that had the entire audience singing along. The cast truly brought the iconic characters to life, and the choreography was top-notch. The production perfectly captured the essence of the beloved story, making it a must-see for any fan of the classic musical. A fantastic night out filled with laughter, romance, and timeless music – highly recommended
The Capitol Theatre was clean and picturesque, with seats that were generally comfortable, and having enough leg room for people to pass. The steepness was good in order to get a good view from row k although I admit the woman in front of me might just have been short. The staff were cordial, and certainly did not distract from the experience.
