Cozy, beautiful but very hectic place with lots of visitors. Lavender ice cream is highly recommendable. The other ones - ice tea of the day, scones, cake - didn’t really smell or taste lavender-like and milkshake might be too sweet for you. The semi-sweet lavender wine was quite nice thanks to the color although it didn’t have lavender scent either. Having said that, it was a fantastic spot full of purples and worth a first visit.
Delicious scones, can say the best scones i have had in a very long time. You can smell the scones baking from the the kitchen, and it comes out nice and warm. When you take the first bite, you get that crunch from the crust and then buttery warmth from the centre of the scones. It was light and fluffy and couldn't get enough. The jam with infused lavender was delicious that we bought a jar! and the whipped cream was balanced and not overly sweet We did try the icecream and I was disappointed, I found the lavender flavour was not mixed within it properly as some bites you get hit with an overwhelming amount of lavender, and some parts there were none, and then another part perfectly mixed through. The coffee that we got were tasty, I found the lavender latte to be a bit too sweet but nonetheless it was a perfectly paired coffee with scones Will definitely come back as those scones were delectable!
I don't think I'm in the right demographic for enjoying anything Lavender, I think about a good thirty forty years away, but I stopped by because the Canal Rocks were too cold and we wanted to get some scones to pack it for the sunset. Thankfully Lavender doesn't close too early. And I really had no idea there's so many permutations of products you can get out of lavender. There's even lavender wine here, and if I had more time I'd probably try a couple of drops. The scones were great by the way and the team were friendly here. You can watch the cockatoos feeding outside and it's a good vantage point to see the traffic in Caves Road, if you like looking at cars. I'd make sure I'll stop by next time otw to Canal Rocks.
This is a lovely place to eat. The scones and jam were perfect and the lavender ice cream was a really unique experience, that I enjoyed a lot more than I had anticipated. I took one star off because it's really not set up with young families in mind. If you sit inside, there are breakables within reach everywhere, and there only 3! outside tables. If you are lucky to get an outside table, it's super close to the road, and there's no fence. I spent the whole time stressing about my children rather than enjoying the setting.
A lovely charming teahouse! We had 3 scones and they were all delicious and very generously sized, lavender latte was sweet but tasty, didn't have enough stomach space to try lavender ice cream. Great, friendly service. Gift shop inside. Would definitely go back and would recommend!
Unfortunately due to technical glitch our booking was lost in the system, however the staff did work hard to clear a table for us as quickly as they could. Fast service. Lovely fluffy scones and good coffee. Kids and hubby enjoyed the lavender ice cream. Lots of nice lavender soaps and other gifts but a little on the pricey side
Came here for breakfast. Great jams, clotted cream and warm scones. Flavours available were original, lavender and bacon. I had to have all three. Also ordered a hearty bowl of soup.
This is such a beautiful little cafe with everything lavender. We enjoyed morning tea here - I’m pretty sure it used to be served on tiers before but this seems to have changed. Toilets were clean and the scones were delicious. Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.
Very cosy & warm on a cold winters day beautiful setting indoors with the sunshine streaming in. We ordered a scone each & wow they are HUGE the jam and cream was lovely. Personally I wasn’t exactly happy about my scone I found them too dry & hard however the coffees were perfect The lavender merchandise is always lovely to purchase
If you love lavender, this is a must place to visit! Apart from selling lavender cakes, scones, ice cream, tea and latte, they also sell a variety of lavender products such as cups, facial products, sweets etc… simply beautiful
