We had a short stroll from Westfield carousel to cannington stn to go to Fremantle market. It's a long ride from cannington stn to Fremantle stn as the train had to interchange at Perth stn. Though long, the ride is very comfortable as the train is clean and the views are breath-taking for first timer to Perth. On the flip side, Google maps have us wrong route as we walked from Westfield carousel to the train station. Luckily we took the chance n found ourselves reaching cannington stn on a shorter route instead of Google maps recommended route.
we cant use mastercards or bank cards in transperth. very poor as compared to sydney opal network
My old neighbourhood has had its ups and downs over the years but today with easy access from Albany, Rowe, or Tonkin Highways and the South East rail line it's set to be a big part of Perth's local economy. The shopping is remarkable with Westfield Carousel attracting a gaggle of smaller international supermarkets in the surrounding area. The station is a quick walk from Carousel Shopping Centre and there's plenty of buses going that way if you'd rather not walk. The Armadale and Thornlie lines pass through at regular intervals and the bus station is usually busy.
yep not bad mate
Iit has everything in the one place
functioning as one of the busiest outer suburbs rail hub, forking to armadale and thornlie from city. nothing special about the station but well kept and everything works, though i once had my windscreen wiper broken when i parked for the day. also serves as a major bus terminus
Depends on what you review Nice transit officers and bus drivers. Not sure why bus stands aren't fully covered tho.. Sucks when it rains
The facilities are usually overrun by the eshay types. Wouldn't recommend staying for long.
Thursday nights can be shifty. Other than that no trouble, normally transit guards visible.
Why do we have to go here first before travelling to Midland Train Station?
