Greenhill Lodge is an absolute God send for those of us that are far from home and quite frankly at the depths of the lowest time in our lives.nnThe accommodation is wonderful, the rooms are comfortable and for many of us the electric recliner lift chair becomes the only place we can truly feel comfortable enough to sleep in. My wife and I spent a few months here in 2025 and we felt so grateful that a place like this exists. The care given by the staff is exemplary and the volunteers who staff the dining room are fabulous, the meals are wonderful and certainly make life that much easier whilst living there undergoing treatment.nnThe gym facility gave me the solace that I needed to just be able to walk on the treadmill and collect my thoughts and it was such a bonus to have a laundry on each level.nnFor us the ability to be able to park our car in the multi-level car park was very welcomed but also too was the volunteer driven shuttle bus to and from the treatment facilities.nnThe cafe on the ground floor was also very nice to have available just to have a coffee and some solitude to gather ones thoughts. They had a nice range of snacks, Panini's and cooked breakfast selections.nnWe also appreciated being so close to some wonderful walking trails right across the road from the accommodation which made for lovely walks in the late afternoons and early mornings.nnMuch love, respect and thanks fromnnPaul and Dayle

Amazing! Staff are welcoming and lovely. Food was nice and a good size portion. Meals were cheap and you had a good verity to choose from. Rooms were comfortable.

Review for SA Cancer Council AccommodationnI stayed at the SA Cancer Council accommodation recently and honestly can’t speak highly enough of it. Everything about the place made a really tough time that little bit easier.nRooms: The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bed was good, and the space felt calm and private, perfect for resting.nFacilities: The shared areas were fantastic. The kitchens were spotless and fully stocked with all the basics, and the laundry setup was super convenient. There were also quiet areas to relax and a gym to workout if you had the energy to do so. Everything was well looked after.nStaff: The staff were absolutely lovely , kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. They really understand what people are going through and go out of their way to make things easier. I always felt supported and cared for.nLocation: The location was super convenient, especially being close to the hospital. It made appointments so much less stressful, and there were shops, cafes, and public transport nearby too, which was really handy.nMeals: The meals available were great,  simple, healthy, and really tasty. It was such a relief not having to worry about cooking all the time, and everything was fresh and well-prepared.nAll in all, I’m so grateful for the support and care I received while staying here. It’s not just a place to stay but a home away from home. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone needing accommodation during treatment.

Lovely rooms at the right price, just perfect when your not well and travelled from country.
