We draw on our 20 years of experience in elite sports rehabilitation to provide dedicated, specialist treatment of all musculoskeletal conditions.

Our brand new practice is located in the geographic centre of Canberra on the Kingston foreshore. Opening hours are 8 to 6 weekdays.
HICAPS allows direct billing at point of sale to most private health funds.
All practitioners at Canberra Sports Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation are approved providers for NSW Workcover, workers compensation and third party insurance clients.

Gavin Malouf - B.App Sc(Physiotherapy), B.Acc
APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist, Principal Canberra Physiotherapy and Rehab
- Gavin worked as a head Physiotherapist in professional rugby union for 15 years, holding senior positions with the ACT Brumbies, Connacht RFU, Australian and Irish rugby teams. He is current service provider to the ACT Academy of Sport women’s football program. He is highly experienced in treatment, hands on rehab and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries especially knee and groin injuries.
Rob Taylor - M.Physiotherapy, B.Medical Science, Physiotherapist
- Rob completed his Masters of physiotherapy in 2008 from University of Canberra after completing a bachelor degree in Medical Science at Australian National University.
He has worked extensively with a varied sporting population from the weekend warrior to Olympic gold medallists, whilst working on the Gold Coast. Rob has worked with Swimming Australia, kayaking Australia and BMX Australia. Rob has also a keen interest in rugby injuries having previously worked with the rugby seven’s Australian tournament, Eagles rugby club, touch football QLD and NSW and currently with East’s rugby club in Canberra.
Rob currently has experience as both a competitor and physio with weight lifting, powerlifting and crossfit injuries and works as part of the recovery team for crossfit events. He has a good understanding of the demands of these sports and management of lifting injuries.Rob has an interest in all musculoskeletal injuries with a strong focus on shoulder and pelvis injuries and management.
Zoia Rusanov - Diploma Remedial Massage
- Zoia completed her Advanced Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy in 2014. She has worked in various clinical settings since then and has established a loyal following through her professional expertise. She has experience working with competitive swimmers and triathletes.
Zoia uses a wide range of techniques including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, cupping, passive tissue tension and PNF stretching to attain the best possible results for her clients. Zoia is passionate about helping people and has a keen interest in treating clients with neck pain and discomfort, headaches and migraines, lower back pain and discomfort, postural tension and stress relief.
