It was my misfortune to need Jo for two separate injuries one complicated with CRPS; it was good fortune that my wrists were in her capable hands. Highly experienced, patient and knowledgeable, she is the epitome of a great physiotherapist. Never shy in giving advice, she calmly answered my regular list of questions with patience and a passion for healing. I highly recommend Jo, Maria and all the team at Camperdown Physio.
If I can give an extra star I would! I was very impressed with Maria today and here I can share it with everyone. Incredible focus and the most professional approach. After just one session I was recovered and my walk was normal. The stretch exercises are spot on. Compliments to the Camperdown Pysiotherapy.
Had an initial consult with Tim Austin. When I met with him, he listened to me and didn’t seem distracted. He did go into some information about how pain reception works, which might be boring for some people, but it didn’t feel like I was being spoken down to. Overall vibe of the practice seems friendly.
Maria Rocco is the best physiotherapist I have been to, and I have been to several. She pinpoints the problem as though she has a third eye zooming in on it. She also explains clearly what the problem is and shows you on charts. If she gives you exercises to do at home, do them, this physio knows her stuff.
I had a similar experience with Tim Austin. He was occupied in a call, and didn't see me until 25mins into my supposing hour initial consultation. He was late, didn't seem to care or compensate for the time on the phone. He gave me little treatment, and did not give me much good advice. Avoid this physio at all cost.
Very disappointing , doc was running 30 minutes behind time, no apology as if it was a regular occurrence. felt as though i was not listened to when explaining my issue and was rushed. look elsewhere
Maria is the best physio I've ever been to, hands down. Excellent at what she does and a lovely person too
Tim Austin ran late, spent considerable time in small talk, would frequently take phone calls mid-appointment and misdiagnosed me. He dumbed down information as if I was unable to handle scientific terms or explanations and never wrote down details of exercises, together leading me to perform incorrect exercises and a cluelessness on how to find information to improve my situation. He spent months working on things that had no benefit which have since been quickly diagnosed and rectified elsewhere.
Maria is the best. She explains what my problems are and how I can work on them myself. Life changing is not an overstatement.
