We bought an Adelaide 196 new caravan in December 2020. The warranty runs out in three months time. We decided to wait until the warranty ended and to rigorously test the van over this two year period before writing a review. We have lived in the van permanently during this time which has tested everything in and out of the van thoroughly. We have only had minor issues ie a gas strut a power point which is negligible considering how many things can go wrong with a quality van of this calibre. We have just popped in to have these minor issues fixed at Camperagent and were thoroughly impressed with the customer service we received from Alisha at reception to Norm who fixed the minor problems. They were busy at the time and fitted us in .Thank you Camperagent for a top quality van and having a one stop facility from buying a van to repairing any issues as they arise. We now have peace of mind that our van will be professionally looked after in the future.
Thought I'd take hubby to explore the idea of getting a caravan then we met fellow car lover and owner John. Top bloke! Who knew they sell Shelby utes and Tesla cars and so much more. Thanks John for the tour. Think we've convinced Marc. We bring the HT for a visit!
I tried to trade my 2018AVIDA Escape 5year warrantyDec 2017 plate, First registered feb2018 , Motorhome, which is still under warranty 9months Left Only 67000km done. Van was serviced on time by fiat Agent always ,but the Avida service was ignored because it was a joke to get them check the house furniture was ok Andrew the boss offered me 80K only if I buy 145K new KEA, I just advertised in our club website for 118K, and got offers from everywhere up to full price. Today for a new Escape it is over 140K, then I have added Bullbar, R/Camera, Inverters, Two TVs, extra water tanks, Would cost someone 150K, There is nothing available in the market like mine for sale. Be aware of these guys when it comes to trade ins. Do your survey first. Best thing was Andrew refused my counter offer of 90K, Aren't I lucky. Thanks for that. Finally I decided NOT to sell because, I will be 'Motorhomeless' for 12 to 18 months due to the wait time for new ones Dont believe any response by them, Latest mews is. A professional detailer did a good job of cleaning and covering up any holes in one day for 800 dollars, It was sold for 118K . Get independent advice for trade ins. just after i got a deposit, another person from Melbourne offered 119K and told me to return the deposit of the first person and give it to her. I dont do unethical things. These days anything sells
Great place for buying a caravan, very helpful staff, showed us everything we needed to know. Thank you Jane and Dave.
We got handover a week ago, Dave the handover guy was great, we had a list of questions with us but didn't need to bring it as Dave covered everything, what an asset to the company. Definitely worth dealing with these guys at camperagent.
Bought a brand new hitch hika for a job in ouyen had aliot of issues wrong with it, which didn't concern me too much but the warranty depth/aftersales service, pretty much didn't care, everything I have to deal with them it's a nightmare, when I get my van back its nearly been a year i work interstate alot so ive had to find other accom too.. I'll be selling so I never have to deal with them again
Big shout out to Dave and staff. As I am a first time caravan owner and operator, Thank you Dave and staff for the professionalism put in to the time and your attentions to details setting up the hand over of the van Hugh help for my own confidence level and understandings as a new operator very much appreciated. Thanks again Dave for doing a top shelf job and going that extra yard and for the follow up service after sales and delivery. Stay safe travel far guys. Your sincerely Dennis Martin
We purchased a second hand Jayco a year or so ago, Salesman was quite pig headed however we didn't have many options, the rest of the process was pleasant. A few weeks later I enquired about having an AC installed and got told I had to bring it to them a whole day wasted to be inspected and pay for a quote.... its not the 80s... quotes are not paid for these days. especially when with technology everything is at hand... measurements dimensions and you had the photos and details from when we purchased it. again we contacted after probably 6 months of ownership to get a price on selling it on consignment and we were quoted an astronomical amount of something like 6k and that they would advertise it for less than we paid although the industry was in the peak of covid we managed to sell it for $2k more than we paid to the second person who looked at it within one week. My parents had purchased 2 second hand and one brand new van from here.... they will not go back.. the brand new one had to go back with a number of issues within 2 weeks that for a short period they were unsure if it would be covered under warranty as no one would comment...
Such a great range, great prices, we ended up buying one.
