I had a short visit a few weeks ago with my toddler and was very impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the reception staff I am sorry that I forgot her name. As soon as she saw us walk in, she immediately engaged my child with conversations and made her feel genuinely welcome. For a shy toddler, it meant a great deal. It’s no surprise that the library staff receive so much appreciation from the community.
Very disappointed with security at Campbelltown Library. My electric bike was stolen while locked to the bike rack directly in front of the library, in an area with CCTV coverage. Despite this, the bike has not been recovered.nnThis is a busy public place used by children, elderly people, and families, and this incident made me feel unsafe. If a locked bike can be stolen so easily here, it raises serious concerns about safety. I hope the library and council take this seriously and improve security to protect the community.
Staff are usually very helpful and happy to do so - Library itself has a big range, even has blurays, games and gaphic novels/manga. I love the app and the fact you can order books from other libraries and they get transferred! You can request books too which they sometimes do.
Great large library with a good setup for meeting with a JP, extensive range of books, DVDs etc, and great facilities. The local history talks are well researched and very well presented. Since attending a talk during the History Festival, I have attended a whole lot more talks and events and thoroughly enjoyed them.
Had an amazing time attending a quilting class at the library. Wish they would have more classes like this.Thank you so much.
