Booked high tea for my birthday and enjoyed the experience! 2 hour seating, good selection of food and drinks! Of course view and property was excellent, perfect for a breather and getaway! Shout out to Liz who was such an amazing hostess - can’t wait to be back soon. Had a birthday to remember
My wife's colleague's wedding was held on this beautiful estate. It was a beautiful place, like a scene from a movie, with a big river at the back of the estate and big lawns covering the front yard. There were two wedding venues, one by the river and the other by a windbreak built by trees. It was still cold in October in Melbourne and the wedding was held in the tree walled auditorium. The building is very retro, with a cigar room, billiard room, lounge, ballroom and dining room. Very well equipped. It was a very atmospheric place, very dreamy, very beautiful, and my shallow knowledge made me think it looked like an American Southern manor house. I hope we can go back again sometime.
I hosted a group of my best friends for High Tea yesterday at CPH and was just thrilled with the afternoon in every way. We chose the all inclusive package and it lived up to its name of "Free Flowing" because it most certainly was the most excellent value! The food was a delicious selection of savoury and sweet, and we lovd it all! The staff were engaging and attentive, and you can't beat being welcomed and made to feel very much "at home" in this beautiful French Provincial Villa from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. Thank you so much to all at Campbell Point House from us for such a fabulous afternoon, and we will return.
Been all over Europe and felt we were in France. Excellent European style services. Enjoyed the high tea. food was great. Will definitely come again for dinner and high tea. Beautiful garden & views.Rooms: 5/5
We just experienced the “High Tea” at CPH. The price was $85 per person to include a 15min garden tour, and $9 for a sparkling water for the table. $349 dollars later, a stale and incredibly disappointing food service was left mostly untouched - and we decided to pass on the garden tour. We had to ask for the included sparkling rather than it be offered, and when the high tea with no hot or warm food, flat scones, stale sandwiches and supermarket sweets was served and left for 15mins without any tea - we had to ask to have our tea with the service. When asked how the food was, our feedback was brushed off. The environment, views and room are spectacular - but not at all worth the expense. A final note - to top up your tea pot is $5, which seems absurd when the leaves are not changed in the process. One young staff member on their first afternoon shift was very kind and personable, as was the staff member serving our table, others were abrupt and were on their phone on the floor which didn’t fit the space.
Visited for dinner on a Friday night. Food & service was amazing, I highly recommended for a special experience. Lovely views and cocktails. Lachie was lovely and spent time chatting to us after our dinner. Thank you.Service: 5/5
Took Mum here after a long 2 year wait for a birthday high tea. The house is amazing, beautiful furnishings and the room was stunning. Unfortunately it was very cold and being Winter, we couldn't understand why the magnificent open fire in the room was not being used. The sandwiches were very nice but unfortunately the scones were extremely flat, dry and not enjoyable. The service we received however was very good.  My Mum was happy to finally have her experience and enjoyed it overall however I don't think we will return for another High Tea.
Stunning, beyond stunning. Everything is immaculate, staff are wonderful the grounds breathtaking. Our room was huge the bathroom sublime. A hidden gem in Victoria were you can get married or just go away for a weekend break. The spa is located by the pool away from the main house. The food first class even their bread is awesome. Highly recommend!
We were delighted to hold our daughter's wedding at Campbell Point House over a fine weekend this April. We found the catering and the staff to be excellent, with Dave and Anita being particularly outstanding in their attention to our guests. The location adjacent to Lake Connewarre is also wonderful with well maintained and impressive grounds. We would not hesitate in holding another function there or in recommending this expansive venue to others.
Beautiful venue, terrible food. Would not recommend the high tea to anyone. Sandwiches were stale. Scones were cold, crumbly and hard. Coffee was made from a Nespresso machine. Tea was just twinings yet we could only get 1 each. Cheese was nice but there was only enough for 1 cube each. Staff were confused with our dietary requirements, waitresses told us two different things, which was concerning. Extremely unsatisfying for a meal that cost us 345.
