There is a great selection of books and media available here. The library also hosts game nights and other activities throughout the week. I have used the library several times to study and there is designated quiet study areas too. This is a brilliant local library.

This library has a fairly good range of books and is well presented and maintained within reasonable parameters, the neverending sorting and resorting by the respected and friendly library technicians and admin staff. Staff are willing to assist and occasionally present visitors with new ideas. I like to study here and occasionally go to the café for a break. The Camberwell Library used to be located in the adjacent town hall years ago, when I was little back in the late 20th century, a century after the invention of the telephone and onwards. The modernisation of this community facility and educational meeting point, improvement of surrounding areas and installation of awesome art, such as a beautiful zany sculpture out the front, is great for young students of society and even other municipalities to enjoy. If you chance upon a homeless or hungry person, you can give them a bottle of water and offer them a snack at the café. Collective kindness should help them off the streets, in theory. At least some aspects of community don't change, indeed, have improved somewhat, over time. Homeless people, remember, some people work for you tirelessly and still think about you all the time.
