Fantastic facility, had a family member in this aged care home until his passing. We could not be more pleased with the service our family member received. The staff were amazing and kept us informed all the time. We would highly recommendnthis facility.
I have a family member newly at this facility and have noticed that their seems to be a lack of communication and I’m hoping this will improve in time .I can’t thank the staff member Tanya enough for what she does she shows great empathy and total passion. on the weekend she went above and beyond for my family member she’s very caring and I noticed how other residents were calling out to her and she remained calm and professional clearly they know her and trust her . It’s very refreshing to see someone so caring . Tanya is a great asset to this facility. Keep up the good work
16.07.2024nFurther to my negative review below, I would like to add that since the issues we had with the cleanliness of mums room, there was a major improvement in housekeeping. Sadly mum recently passed and I would whole heartedly like to thank the amazing staff in Rose Cottage who went above beyond to make sure mum was treated with dignity until her last moments. Also some of the incredible nursing staff who took their time to explain the process and ensured mum was pain free. I thank younnIt’s only because of some of the beautifulncaring staff in Rose cottage that my mum remains at Calvary.nUnfortunately the rest of the facility leaves a lot to be desired since the take over by Calvary from japarrA . My mums room had food flicked on the wall, her air mattress had food dried on it, her bedside table has food dried on it and she had a dead fly on her windowsill all of which were stillnin the same place after a week. It was addressed when i put in a complaint only to bein the same state a few days later. The facility needs a huge shake up!
Mostly great staff with a pretty good level of care.
My dad has been here for about 2 months now.nStaff are always friendly and helpful.nVery happy with the choice we made for our dad
