I just want to give a personal shout out to the Executive Assistant, Elissa for her care in providing me instructions on disabled parking for my elderly parents. They are mobility restricted, and from the country, so any metro driving is tricky for them. After a quick turn-around from initial email, to receiving a response, I could relay how to park in a suitable space, and that she was available to assist or delegate assistance upon arrival.nWell done, for your part in making something quite frightening less so through your compassionate correspondence.
I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received from Nurse Natasha Perry during my recent visit to the emergency department. From the moment she attended to me, Natasha showed outstanding professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail. She took the time to explain each step of the process, reassured me when I was anxious, and treated me with kindness and respect throughout. Thank you, Nurse Natasha!!!
The Calvary Adelaide Hospital is a 5 star Hospital. The nursing staff in ICU and CCU are super friendly and efficient and only to eager to help with whatever you need.nI can't say enough about the wonderful Drs in the two wards named above and my husbands heart specialist, Dr Crouch. He is an amazing man who has given my husband a second chance at life.nThe food has been amazing, with frequent visits from the tea/coffee trolley.nThe individual rooms have everything you need for your stay and the beds are comfortable.
Underwhelming level of followup care after my 79 year old father's surgery. They have a treat and street approach, obviously some-one else needed his bed despite him being a veteran with a gold card. Apparently he will be able to care for him self at home less than 2 days after a shoulder replacement......
Beautiful hospital with latest equipment. Went in for laparoscopic and robotic operation and it went seemless. Did not like sitting in a waiting room for a number of hours dressed for surgery with a number of other patients. Total wait was 3.5 hours. I think patients should be allowed to wait in private bed or private admission room like what they do in St. Andrew’s. More of a courtesy thing and much more peaceful and calming. The hospital room I stayed in on 11th floor had stunning views over the city. Medical care is very good. Plenty of staff with enough knowledge for the care of each patient. Very friendly and caring female and male nurses around me. Felt very well taken care of. Discharge very smooth and efficient and again caring and friendly. Overall, good experience. Problems: parking in CBD is a nuisance. Drop off bay is small and crowded. Food: warm lunch and dinner dishes not great to say the least.
