. 26/04/2015 Felt rigged after coming out of store. The fuel was overpriced when we compared to other stations and it didn't accept any discount cards at all including AA - that was first for me during all this time.
We stayed in Waitetoko for three weeks and went to the store most days for petrol and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff, I forgot my bank card and they let me come back later to pay. Highly recommended.
Great country store .... has everything you would want. Petrol too ...
It is a nice little place where you can get petrol if you need to as not cheap. Apart from that, there's a cafe, and you can buy things relating to fishing if you are into this.
The Store was awesome when Stella owned it now it is average. The coffee at the cafe is weak and definitely not made from the heart, and the barista was surly. Also when we were in the cafe ordering a coffee one of the woman behind the counter was handling croissants without gloves not great in terms of hygiene.
The place to stop in the area, well stocked store and great cafe! Nice icecreams
