Imagine giving a one star rating because they don't have any vegetarian pies see ratings below maybe they're popular and sold out before you come. I could say the same for satay chicken pies, can be hard to find . Definitely not worth a one star review.nnDown to brass tacks. In my experience the staff here are lovely, chatty, friendly and helpful. I pulled up at 9pm and the lights inside went off as I prepared to fill my tank. Asked the lady who came out what the deal was and she told me the Google hours were incorrect. No drama, I edited them to the correct hours. Was super helpful and pointed me to the kiosk for after hours payments which I had not noticednnThe store has a wide variety of food, drink and snack options with a decent wee cafe on site. Definitely recommend the chicken and chips. If you compare this store to their Milton counterparts, Balclutha are miles ahead especially in the staff friendliness department! Highly recommended.

Lovely staff and clean restroom
For the past few times I've been in, the shop has been out of Veggie pies. Today they finally had a pie left in the vegetarian section. It wasn't until I was out of town and stopped to eat the pie to find out that it had chicken. Not happy. My partner finished my pie and said it tasted weird. If you're a vegetarian, avoid this place!
Its a gas station with pleasant staff. Oh they do have fried Chicken and Chips too. When I've tried the Chicken and Chips both have still been warm none of this barely warm food that may cause stomach aches or worse.
