Caloundra Golf Club is one of the most talked about courses at our golf centre, Atomu and Alicia are always setting up golf days there, and I want to acknowledge the people behind it, starting with leadership like Jason Looker General Manager, Donna Dancer President, Glenn Devallance Vice President, and Neville Reid Treasurer, plus the captains and committees who keep the club moving, including Kevin Clues, Donaugh Cronin, Russell Hill, Paul Crothall, Mike Setchell, Chris Shenton, Trish Harding, Linda Stirling, Tanya Lane, and Anne Boland. In the pro shop, the team makes a huge difference to how golfers experience a day out, including Bailey Arnott Head Professional, Leigh Stephenson Assistant Professional, David Thomme Pro Shop Manager, Grant Pearce Golf Instructor, and the attendants and carts crew Mikala Johnson, Marley Arnott, Jack Looker, Joel, Travis, Connor, and Campbell. Between the course itself and the way this team looks after people, it is easy to see why we hear so much good feedback about Caloundra from golfers, and I appreciate what the club is doing for the broader golfing community.

Was gifted six half-hour golf lessons for Christmas, but unfortunately have been unable to redeem the voucher.nnWhen I went to redeem, I was told the pro shop would not honour it and to contact the pro. I then tried to follow up with the pro directly and was told the club recieved the money, which left me going in circles and no closer to a resolution.nnI would have liked a refund or some form of resolution, but neither has been provided.

My experience at the clubhouse was, regrettably, one of the most disappointing I have encountered in over three decades of playing golf.nnThe staff member I dealt with—tall and well-presented—conducted himself in a manner that was dismissive, discourteous, and, at times, overtly rude. His approach appeared indifferent to the needs of non-members, conveying a clear lack of interest in providing even a basic standard of hospitality or assistance.nnRequests were met with abrupt refusals, often without explanation or any attempt at accommodation. The overall impression was one of arrogance and disengagement, entirely at odds with the standards one would reasonably expect from a golf club environment.nnSuch conduct not only detracts from the reputation of the establishment but also undermines the inclusive and welcoming spirit that the game of golf is meant to embody. I trust this feedback is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

Tried to call the pro shop wouldn’t pick up which is ridiculous do better please as I’m just trying to clear some stuff up as the website isn’t very good.

Great golf club for all ages and abilities. They make you feel so welcome. The course is in excellent condition. Need to book early as it is so busy. Worth the wait though.
