Story

Caloundra Florist is a Family owned and operated Australian Business. In 1979 Rose and Clive Doran brought the small florist in Caloundra on the beautiful Sunshine Coast Queensland, Australia. This florist soon began to florish and made its way known in the general community of Caloundra. Keeping to the one shop , Caloundra Florist gained a reputation as the Family Florist.

Rose has won many awards through Interflora and won the Bribie Island Teleflora meet in 2000.

Clive was known around town as the Friendly Florist always delivering with a smile and ready to have a chat.

Sadly we lost Clive to cancer in 2002.

Over the years we have provided flowers for many wonderful people from the Famous to our everyday customers.

We have supplied flowers for The Prince of Taiwan,

Peter Overton of 60 Minutes called in for flowers.

Our very own Crocodile Hunter Steve graced us with his presence on numerous occasions.

Kamahl on several occasions has collected his red carnations in person , and most recently Dec 2014.

Wedding Flowers provided for a Qld Cricketer.

Supplied Avon flowers for various functions over several years.

Wedding flowers for a Prima Ballerina .

The list goes on, we have been very privileged to have had a small part in so many lives.

Our fresh flowers come from QLD’s No 1 supplier’s Tesselaar Flowers, Eudlo Ridge , Parkland Wholesale flower , growers to name a few. All our suppliers are quality controlled in all area’s of their given flowers and we have choosen these suppliers for the great job that they do. We receive fresh flowers daily. If you require something special we are happy to order this in for you in advanced. We take great pride in our work and strive for the best quality and workmanship , to give our customers a number one service.

Throughout the years we have gained a trusted clientele that is Second To None.

Our Clientele has done the full circle , from our original local customers .We now have the honour of doing flowers for the Sons and Daughters and Grandchildren of these all time great clients that have stayed with us throughout the years. To all the wonderful brides that we have had the pleasure to meet over the past 30 years has been amazing.
