There was a very cute dog, however, the bed sheets smelt, did not seem to be washed at any point. It seemed like a bunch of friends that lived there, which is fine, but they would stare at us everytime we were not in our beds. They spoke about us in French - I am French so I understood.nnThe kitchen was messy and despite labelling my food, someone stole it and ate it infront of me.
I had a good time here in Cali backpackers. Everyone was really nice and the vibe there was super relaxed.nThe best for me was that there was plenty of surfboards, skateboards and bikes there laying around and you could just take, for free.nMaybe everything was not perfectly clean but it was the cheapest hostel i could find in this area so you get what you pay i guess. But it was not in a way that i found it disgusting.
Great Hostel in the middle of Caloundra, close by the beach and shops.nYou got a swimming pool and a cute little dog to entertain your stay. Good for long or short term.
Hi, I’m writing to formally report that $350 was stolen from my bag while I was staying in one of your rooms. There were three other people staying in the room at the time. I raised this while I was there but received no assistance or support, which was extremely disappointing.nDue to the situation, I’ve now left and found alternative accommodation. I would like this incident to be taken seriously—please advise if there is any CCTV, access logs, or internal investigation that can be conducted.nI expect a response regarding how this is being handled.nThanks,nMyles P
very good hostel, the cleaning was done 3 times per days, the staff and the manager are very kind and welcoming. I was very happy because to stay there. definitely recommend it
