Best place for history lover. Great collection of artifacts, photographs and interesting briefs. Most importantly, the curator Ms. Shanan was kind enough explain about historical events with great passion. Loved it.

Always worth it to learn a bit of the local history and culture. I don't have children but loved the fact that they have the chance to interact, learn and enjoy while learning.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic range of fascinating exhibits. A great place to learn about the local history of Cairns. Well worth a visit.

This is a nice little museum in the City of Cairns and a must visit if you would like to learn about the history of Cairns. Staff are friendly and there will be volunteers guide you. Museum is well organized and educative. You can find parking on the nearby streets for free. It will take maximum of two hours to see.

An excellent informative venue with knowledgeable, friendly staff and volunteers. A special vote of thanks to volunteer Tony who gave us further insight into Cairns culture and history. A must do for all Cairns visitors.
