Convenient to catch the bus from the city to get here if you do not have a car. $1 return trip.nA beautiful and well planned garden. Well worth the visit.
Visited this place in Nov 2023. Loved the gardens, perfect for a walk, family picnic or to ride a bike. Came across big peace lily plants which I have hardly seen before. Beautiful gardens, must visit.nMoreover, place is free, there is no entry ticket. Quite and peaceful place where you can relax in nature's arms.
We went on a rainy day so there wasn’t people. The price was affordable because it’s free for everyone. If there more instruction about the pathway and exit then it would have probably been better for me. But I definitely recommend this for garden lovers in/visiting Cairns.
This tropical garden is a haven for lovers of nature! Flowers and foliage abound and the diversity of the selections in the conservatory is stunning! Shady paths along the stream are reminiscent of the lush rainforest, but the sunny lawns are bordered in blooming plants for a little change!
Today’s spring rainy day was perfect for a wander through the botanical gardens.nWalking around was like exploring a tropical paradise, with each turn revealing new and fascinating plant species and so many exotic flowers.nWell worth getting eaten alive and suffering the humidity !
