Pizza is average, but the sea food pasta, I mean has the chef really tried their own food? The cube fish literally chewing like rubber with salty gravy. My home cooking way better than this 38$.
Team lunch today. Not crowded. Good ambience and music not too loud. Amazing food. Great serving! Ordered seared salmon and it was yum! Definitely worth a visit when you're in Albany.
They made our Saturday afternoon. A bit late lunch but worth ever. Warm Welcomed. Quiet place around 2.30pm to 3.30pm. A bit confused about menu as heaps options. But we took: lamb rak, spaghetti conberan, and special chicken xxx. Lemonade and bloody orange juice plus API. Yummmmy foods ever. I loved spaghetti perfect. Lam cooked very well. 10 out of 10. Recommended.
We went for dinner and had lamb gnocchi and the margarita pizza, the gnocchi was the star of the show, really flavoursome, the pizza was lacking, needed some more flavour. All in all was a nice dinner at a good price.
Been here after many years. Food was still nice but the service was very poor. I was almost slipped over in the reception area when both coming in and out. The area was slippery but there wasn't any signs or excuses from staff members. Parking: spacious parkings
It was last Sunny morning, Rainy day. I came to store order a flat white and start read a book. The lady served me one of the best coffee I have had for long while. She’s real nice and I have had a lovely reading time. Sorry I don’t have her name, but she made amazing coffee. I’ll surely come back to try the Tiramisu next time.
Slow service. Sloppy polenta. Salt sadly lacking. Booking easily enough, and place was packed on arrival so we had high hopes. Orders promptly taken, but food took over an hour to arrive. Pizza was okay, but rest of mains were below average. Lamb rack was overcooked. Ox tail was served on a sloppy watery polenta which was inedible. Promptly swapped with mash. Prawn risotto was very watery as well. Everything lacked seasoning. For the price paid for mains, we felt robbed! Subpar.
On a quiet Monday, Pollo fettuccine was my pasta of choice that evening. Chicken, mushroom, sun dried tomato and cream accompanied by al dente fettuccine and thick shavings of parmesan cheese was a delight. I did notice that there was not enough sauce and the dish became drier as I ate. But nonetheless, it was very nice. It would have been nice if there was pest control as two pairs of flies constantly kept me from enjoying my meal and moving tables didn't help. Staff were very kind and attentive, and were not hesitant to recommend any signature dishes! Parking is limited, but there are designated areas in both the front and rear of the restaurant.
Not sure how to rate my experience/ experiences. First visit a few months ago was awesome. Booked on Christmas Eve for a " later " sitting as our son was working until 8 and we really wanted to bring him to your place. Firstly, I think you should rather not take bookings on days like that or just restrict them to early sittings because everything just felt rushed and I understand that staff wanted to get home to family and friends. Secondly, we ordered a second bottle of wine but, feeling rushed only had a half glass out of it. I understand licensing regulations but, surely, some plan could have been made for us to take what we had paid for, home. Was not your most costly bottle but at $56, I was loathe to have to leave it there, as the lady at the door insisted we do. Should have sat down and just taken my time to finish it and kept everyone waiting. I know you aren't a liquor store and your license stipulations are very specific but we were the only people there besides the staff and could just have stuck it into my wife's handbag and nobody would have been hurt but, she was so insistent that we leave it behind. I'm sure a plan could have been made. Perhaps thinking outside the box should be a prerequisite for hiring front of house staff. Not saying we won't be back as we do love your place but just disappointed by the way it was handled.
We ere greeted warmly as we entered, menu looks amazing. We ordered a pizza and asked if we could have two flavours on it. They catered for our choices and the pizza came quickly. It was yumm. We were in and out quickly as we were on a time frame. Wait staff were very pleasant. I would recommend this restaurant.
