Welcome to Cafe saffron Indian Restaurant. Cafe Saffron is a family run restaurant which serves traditional Indian cuisine. The owner Vijay Singh Negi has been working with Indian cuisine for over 25 years, he has many years experience in India's finest 5 start hotels and restaurants. Mr. Negi has brought his culinary talent and provided Melbournians with tantalising Indian food. With the talented chefs, dedicated staff and the guidance of Mr Negi, Cafe Saffron has been able to achieve great heights of success in its 19 years of operation. Fantastic and very affordable take away. Our “go to” for Indian. Unfortunately with two kids it’s a little hard to dine out these days but take away travels well we live 15mins away, food is always fresh and very tasty! We love Cafe Saffron
Very pleasant experience, nice staff and food was very tasty. Authentic taste and flavoursome. Vindaloo is a must try, along with tikkas and kebabs.

Just finished one of the best Vindaloos I have ever had. I always ask for maximum heat i.e Indian hot, and am often disappointed. Not today my friends. I've got sweat coming out of my eyeballs, triple vision, and I feel like I'm wearing radioactive lipstick. Such rich and complex flavours too. So happy good work
