Story

Welcome to Café Le Monde

Since ‘86 Le Monde has greeted early risers, fresh from their first morning surf, with famed coffees and delicious breakfast treats, and bid good night to many a late night reveller at the end of our live music gigs. Working around the clock to serve tasty food at fair prices to locals and visitors alike, we’re proud of our history and honoured to be thought of as a Hastings Street icon.

Our menu draws heavily on local produce and combines classics with more inventive dishes. We support local businesses like Clandestino Roasters specialty coffee, Tanglewood Organic Sourdough Bakery, Noosa Cleanse cold pressed juice and Belmondos Organic Market, sourcing produce that is free range, grass fed and where possible certified organic.

We take our food, our community and our service seriously but not ourselves. Always up for a laugh and general good times, the Le Monde experience is relaxed and fun. If you want to see this claim in all its glory, ask your waiter for a gig guide and join us for live music from Thursday to Sunday with local and interstate bands and DJ’s playing all kinds of magic. Best food in Noosa! I don't have anything else to say. Dinner was perfect, dessert was perfect. EVERY was perfect. Declan looked after us and was amazing too. Don't bother going to any other restaurant, come here it won't disappoint. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly Dietary restrictions: GF and V options
We had a wonderful Christmas Day lunch at Cafe Le Monde. The seafood platter was delicious and perfectly chilled. I liked the ham with cauliflower. To top it off, I got the dragon fruit, mango, and passion fruit pavlova, so many flavors! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, I would highly recommend.
Great place to start the day Relaxed beachy vibes all the way through. Increasingly standard table QR code ordering or just go up to the till. Spacious and airy accommodation with a mix of benches, booths and chairs. Breakfast options are fantastic with something for everyone. And check out the range or frozen smoothies and cold pressed juices.
We called in for a late lunch on a sunny Tuesday afternoon. The fish and chips I had were excellent. Mrs C was a little underwhelmed with her chicken burger. I thought it had good flavour but the chicken was very thin. A couple of glasses of Shaw and Smith Sauvignon blanc made for a good lunch.
Lovely restaurant in a great location in Noosa. Have ordered the yellow curry the last few visits and it has not yet disappointed. A great size to share with 2 people I must admit! Only setbacks are that the chips a vegetarian staple are only served in duck fat, and the awkward expectation to tip the servers in Australia. But, each to their own. Would love to see more vegetarian and vegan options as Noosa Heads is lacking in options overall and a great market to enter.
Such a cool csde, have been coming here every day for coffee. Just had dinner and the food is superb , the service is excellent. Best oysters in Noosa. Do your self a favour and Chuck it out for your self
Cafe Le Monde Thursday Happy Hour goes off we enjoyed great live music $1 Natural Oysters $2 Kilpatrick cola drinks and cocktails. A fantastic vibe very popular we booked our table near the band luckily as the queue to get stretched down the street. Great staff happy place recommend
Very nice place to visit. Had nice offee, but was not strong in flavour. The food was ok but pricey for what you get as a serving. This is mostly due to the location being Noosa. Vegetarian options: Yes Kid-friendliness: Nice place for the kids. Parking: Parking spots are hard to get as it is very busy most of the time. If your lucky, go early. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for wheel chair access
All time favourite beach style Cafe and restaurant in Noosa Heads. It's not on the beach but a stone throw away. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are cheerful and happy to help. Boss lady served and delivered our excellant coffee. Thx team for a special morning.
Heaven on a plate!!! Being someone that can’t normally eat out with my family as I have a lot of food intolerances and have to eat before I go out. It was so amazing to find a place had something on their menu I could eat. On top of being able to eat, that are the most beautiful waffles I have ever tasted. Thankyou to the chef and staff and Cafe Le monde, it was my the amazing experience & can’t wait to get back up next year for more waffles!! Emma. X
