Their menu is vast and honestly a breakfast/brunch lovers idea of heaven. it's a good chill vibe inside, with plenty of seat including good window seats for people watching. The eggs and mushrooms I had came quickly and were very good, especially the mushrooms which were well fried and nicely seasoned. Coffee was good, and the service was super friendly.
There have plenty of food menus it was hard to choose one! Nice meal with affordable price, also all stuff were friendly so totally I love this cafe ! I would visit again soon :
Food and coffees were good, the staff were friendly and it was one of the rare places open on Boxing Day, I wish the cook was wearing gloves and not touching everything with his hands.Recommended dishesBreakfast Special
What a joke this place has turned into. I frequented this cafe for years but sadly no more. A group of six of us walked in around 11.30am, the place was dead.. staff all chatting to one another, no ‘hello, grab a table’, nothing. Walk past two chefs in the kitchen, less than impressed customers were walking in. Sat down, again nothing from staff! It’s always been ‘order at the counter’ but not even a few bottles of water. Menu has changed and is confused. Could smell the grease trap from outside in the courtyard. Overall the lack of service, friendliness and ambiance made us get up and leave and go to the busy neighbouring cafe across the road which did not disappoint. This place use to be pumping on a Saturday morning. Assuming the old owners have sold… and the new ones are just letting the business die. Really sad to see. I won’t be returning.
Ordered takeaway, food is ok, fries are great. Got breaky burrito, caramel slice, burger meal, croissant, pasta and two drinks. Unfortunately they missed a couple of things in my order, didn't give me my can of drink with my combo meal, paid for chicken to be added to my boscaiola but no chicken, they mixed up my drink order and gave me Beetroot mix instead of banana whipe and no ice in my fresh OJ for $78 not to happy. Maybe dining in would be different.
I used to really enjoy this cafe. But they allow dogs inside whose owners think it is fine they are around your feet and begging for food at your table. Apart from personally being allergic to many dogs/cats and my eyes starting to itch over breakfast, I thought that it was illegal to have dogs inside a cafe? Staff's response - well we allow dogs. So not a place for me unfortunately.
Still as delightful and delicious as ever... Been coming fot years and now whenever I visit Sydney I try to make it on for their sublime Smoked Salmon brekkie... Yum. Highly recommended Feb 2022 update: In Sydney for a few days and had to have my cafe Giulia fix. Had the usual and it did not disappoint. The smoked salmon brekky comes out looking like a magazine styled plate...visually a feast for the eyes, so clean and perfect on the plate. Taste wise I live the combination of flavours and textures. Great quality smoked salmon, perfectly poached eggs just how I like them, house made hash browns that are crisp in the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. With wilted spinach and the yummy dressing ... It's so fantastic to be able to come back and reliably have a dish I enjoy so much...I'll be back again and again lol
Cafe Giulia is a lovely little cafe situated right on the corner. It’s surprisingly big, usually quite busy and has a HUGE menu. I’ve gone solely for breakfast and coffee. Coffee is good, pretty standard and quite large portions! I’ve had the waffles and the pancakes. The waffles were delicious, with rhubarb and topped with a smooth and yummy mascarpone cream. They were quite crunchy so if you’re into a more Belgian style waffle they might not be for you. I also have had the pancakes here which were very yum- I went with the lemon & sugar pancakes which I have never seen this combo before? and it was really good! Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area!
Been coming to CG for over 10yrs whenever I'm in the hood chicken Casa - yum'o!Food: 5/5
I'd have rated this place 5 stars if not for one particular staff who seemed to be constantly grumpy or simply wasn't happy to see me. Food wise, they're massive hence the price, and typical classic cafe breakfast & brunch dishes with a little Greek / mediterranean touch. Good taste, but don't think there's an Oomph factor to warrant a repeat visit. Service wise: All of the staff were genial except for one. Long story short, we didn't realize that he gave us a dish that's different from our order how could we know, all we know is it's also got salmon in it!, obviously looked unhappy and got us the right order afterwards. The next day I came obviously too soon to forget me right?, and placed an order, the guy's face looked sour. Maybe it's just his perpetual grumpy complexion and I took it personally.
