Good option for breakfast. The atmosphere is relaxed, a bit loud when busy, which makes it a great option if you have kids. The menu offers a good range of options, with healthy choices available. The staff member who served me was extremely helpful and happy to alter menu items to accommodate my dietary needs, which was great. Nothing was a problem. Coffee was excellent and came very quickly. The meal took a little longer, but given how busy the restaurant was that was to be expected. My meal was delicious, although I had to laugh. I asked for well cooked bacon and it was indeed very well cooked, like crackling, but still yummy.
Poor service, staff weren't friendly or professional. One staff member yelled at another across the venue. Our server reached over some of us at the table to serve. Orders on the same number were not brought out at the same time, and two of our party of five had to get their meals take away because they had not come after more than half an hour, by which time the other three of us had finished eating. The food was also poor, nacho meat was flavourless and they used cheese flavoured Doritos which added a cheap and nasty touch. Beef burger was also tasteless. The ham sandwich looked like the best meal from our table which is not a good sign. Considering how poor the food and service was, the prices were ridiculously high. The coffee was apparently okay. I would not eat there again not would I recommend it to others. There are plenty of much better options in town.
Great place! The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. The food is healthy and wholesome with so many delicious options on the menu. The lovely staff do their best to accommodate your needs, and were more than happy to alter any of the dishes for my dietary requirements! Was not a problem for them at all. Lovely staff and a lovely place!
A while ago I went in the function room, the service was great! I ordered the vegetarian meal and it came so quickly but there was a HUGE pool of oil at the bottom, also one of my friends had a pizza. Her pizza wasn't cooked the whole way so she could not finish her meal.
I had lunch at Cache with friends last week. Best I can say is it was average. My Super Cache salad was a strange mix & consisted mostly of raw kale which is god awful stuff cooked, raw or otherwise. Spiced chickpeas were also raw, rock hard & about as appertising as dog pellets but with cumin. We ordered some juices with our meals & watched them do 4 laps of the room before our yelling & frantic waving of the table number finally diverted the waiter to our table. It is a cool place to escape the heat but if you are looking for good food try elsewhere.
Absolutely appalled by our visit today. The waitresses had no clue about cafe courtesy. Standing right behind us yelling across the store or approaching the table and leaning over everyone to place coffees on the opposite side. And for the food.. the stuff that made it to the table was for the most part bland and tasteless. But two out of five meals didn't even make it to us within the hour we had to wait. Made a pretty nice coffee though.
Not only did my meal come after my friend had already finished hers even after I asked where it was and when i finally received my smoothie bowl there’s no other word to put it then disgusting! and above all else the costumer service was appalling and coming from two people who work in hospitality and are therefore used to this type of incident were still surprised that no one really cared about the lack of service and apology given the service was disgraceful. definitely won’t be visiting again.
Shockingly average restaurant. First of all we were served by a rather rude waitress. Short blonde, very rude. Secondly the store has a 20% surcharge for eftpos. Seriously, 10% is fair but 20%???? Your purposely ripping off your customers. Bloody thieves you are. I will never be coming back to your restaurant with my family ever again. $55 for two meals... DISGUSTING. Now for the meals. We orders a steak burger and a freaky burger. Both burgers were bland and tasted like cardboard. The meat paddy in the freaky burger was already falling apart and crumbling when it arrived, so as soon as I picked it up to take a bite it all fell apart. WORST burger I have ever eating, EVER. Thirdly, we dont mind seeing the waitress's mop the floor, but when they mix what smells like 500 litres of bleach in with the cleaning product and water, it's extremely over powering and off putting WHILE WE EAT! Overall a terrible restaurant to eat at, avoid at all costs, hope they go under.
Very disappointing. This is my first review prompted by our lunch experience. The setting is nice but a little bit noisy but the waitresses were pleasant. We did not have to wait long for our food but this is where our lunch took a nose dive. The sandwiches were fine $10.90; hard to get that wrong, as was the beef wellington ~$16.90. The chicken in the caesar salad was pre-processed as was the chicken in the chicken tandoori naan breads ~$15 which were the most disappointing. We ordered 2 identical naan breads which came out looking entirely different with each having different ingredients and one missing the chicken. When the waitress was asked for an explanation she went to find out but didn't return to explain. I went to chase her down for an explanation, she said that one meal had been prepared earlier and was their display meal and the other had to be made fresh but they had run out of ingredients !. This is possibly the worse excuse that a customer does not want to hear i.e. "Your meal is not fresh". When my partner continued with his meal, the chicken was tasteless and was fridge cold. I took the meal to the duty manager who gave the same explanation. I would have preferred an apology and for her to take the meal away, offer a fresh meal and to reimburse the cost of the the 2 chicken naans like any decent establishment. Lets hope my partner does not get food poisoning since the chicken was not heated to a safe serving temperature. We opted for coffees in place of the meal but in hindsight should have simply got our money back as the coffee was burnt. The meals are a little overpriced considering the quality of the ingredients. Needless to say we will not be returning and will NOT be recommending this cafe to anyone else!
Very disappointing food. Attended for lunch today, ordered the Vietnamese beef salad, listed as containing Vietnamese mint, basil and coriander. Salad consisted mostly of bland green leaves, and not one herb. Not one. Hardly Vietnamese, and hardly tasty. Staff were friendly, but the service was slow, food overpriced and not as advertised.
