Burger with beer battered chips was great! Wedges were a big portion too! The fisherman's basket was good. Fettucine was average, the price for $8 for top up of smoked salmon is totally not worth please don't do it, it's also very fishy for smoked salmon!
Great cafe friendly staff, I had the Angus burger with beer battered chips the burger was big but the meat paddy was more like a rissole and it didn't come on a burger bun it came on a focaccia bread but I still enjoy it. I do recommend this place to eat at if you were thinking about it.
Unfortunately this place has gone down hill since the last time we visited. I took my parents here that are visiting from Melbourne for a nice lunch out however, it was far from nice. There were 5 of us that ordered, paid for egg to come in our BLT's but they forgot to add it, I sent one back and they slapped an overcooked cold egg inside the top layer of the BLT. The meals were delivered in pairs so we all watched each other eat at different times. The chips were advertised as Beer battered fries on the menu but as you can see by the photo they weren't and were not cooked properly soggy and cold. There was no water in the water fountain and had to ask staff twice for a glass of water. I was instructed to order the smoothies out the front and then line up inside to pay for them. The food overall was extremely disappointing to be honest.
That Cafe Bravo should improve the business. Servicing customers is priority no1 Salad was not great. Not cleaned property. Fish was just small pieces. If bringing capuccino, bring some sugar
The calamari was really good! Service was fast. My daughter said "this cafe truly deserves a bravo" and that's a win in my book!
Worst dining experience ever. Have waited now an extremely long time for a meal. Yes they're busy but I've seen other restaurants that can still deliver a meal in 15 mins. Don't charge a surcharge if you can't deliver a standard service. We complained to a waitress who said she would say something and no return visit to apologise. The fisherman's basket was nearly $30, took 54 mins to arrive with no sauce and possibly the worst frozen seafood I've ever eaten. DO NOT have lunch here. Drive back down the mountain and find somewhere cheaper with better food or surely there are better options around.
As our visit was out if season there were very few people around the area. But the water dragon visiting today caused some excitement among the patrons. The staff were very friendly. Parking: If you are early you will find parking out front but forget it when you get there after 11.30am.
My friend and I ate breakfast here last Sunday. We were the only ones in the Cafe. We ordered at the counter and sat in one of the circular bay window nooks. When the waitress delivered our food to the table, she instructed us to go outside to collect cutlery. She then continued to gossip with another waitress rather than dispense basic customer service. It's such a shame because the breakfast salad was rather nice. We really felt like we were interrupting her social life.
Went for lunch yesterday. They advertise beer battered fries but send out frozen plain ones. Our drinks order was incorrect so had to send that back. The ice coffee was warm so had to ask for ice to make it cold. We Ordered New York wedges. They ran out of wedges so just did them on plain chips without letting us know until it arrived but didn’t offer a refund for the difference until we questioned it. The BLT’s were soggy with old tomato and the white core of the lettuce, bacon was under cooked. The hamburger patty was one of the frozen industrial produced types so not the lovely angus beef they advertise. Would not go back again. The young wait staff were all lovely and apologetic of the food coming out from the kitchen and seemed quite embarrassed. Toilets need a really good scrub. The only up side to this restaurant was the young wait staff who were absolutely lovely. Attention needs to be paid in the kitchen as that is where this place is let down!
Seems like a Greek Theme cafe. Service was quick and staffs were friendly and helpful, moving at a quick pace when you requested something. Plenty of shaded seatings indoor and outdoor. Quality of the breakfast was average but the quantity is heaps! A little disappointed at my Mocha, couldn’t taste much of the coffee even though I ordered small, double shot espresso. Good thing was their drinking chocolate was good quality, not the cheap super sweet stuff you get from supermarket.
