My last meal before my flight back to Taiwan! The beef patty was very good, so are the other foods here. Jim Hawkins is highly recommended especially if you want to have a breakfast even though I did that at night. In terms of beverage, I drank Bee Gee and thought it was of great nutrition because of sufficient flesh inside the drink.nThe taste of that was also amazing.nIn conclusion, the meal was delectable,n9 out of 10 mate!
I order through Ubereats. Not only was the Merino missing an egg but my father's thickshake was completely missing! My youngest ordered a fruit salad, photo on uber looks like a variety of fruit including strawberries etc, yet what they received was a plate of melon! Not watermelon! It was rock melon and honeydew melon with yoghurt and a tiny bit of Berry compote. Why am I always disappointed when I order from Cafe 63? This is not the first time we have received lack luster food or missing items. It just feels like no one there likes their job.nNote: if you want a rare steak, do not order from Cafe 63.nRare = Med-rare, Med-rare= Med so Med would probably be well done.nMy son says the only redeeming factor was the vanilla milkshake.
Spacious cafe with indoor and undercover outdoor seating. Good range of food on menu but we just had coffee. Coffee was very good. Busy place very popular with families, but has a bland kind of atmosphere. Tables well spaced. Make yourself known to the wait staff or you might be ignored.
What a find, right here in my own backyard! This hidden gem should not be missed. The menu is seriously large for a Cafe, and we had trouble choosing what offering we wanted. I can appreciate they do this to cater to many tastes and budgets, however as a chef myself I felt dizzy thinking of the chefs in the kitchen when they get busy or have a large croud! I'm not even kidding about the size of the menu, I would recommend you have a look on the website for the menu prior to your visit to get a better idea of what you might want.nThe food however was quick, tasty and decent in portion and presentation. A lot of it was pre-prepared food, like battered fish for example, however for a cafe and with a menu that large this is totally acceptable. The food was cooked fresh and served quickly, and at a bloody good price! Hard to come by with the current cost of living crisisnThe coffee was great, I asked for an oat milk latte and received exactly that! Not a flat white trying to pass as a latte as is very common in Queensland.nThe servers are patient and very friendly, a real credit to the establishment.nnWill be taking my wife to this location for breakfast/lunch more often. Booked well in advance for the Mother’s Day brunch and specifically asked for seats with sofa but were told all in use/not available. Then it took 1.5hrs to get our food leaving my young kid starving and got very cranky. Finally we got the food but the egg Benedict just very disappointing - no comment my photo tells…provided wrong dish to start with…never had an egg Benny with such a hard yolk….I understand that the Mother’s Day brunch could be a bit busy time however today’s experience is just very disappointing. Been having Mother’s day brunch here in the past few years but not sure whether we are going to continue next year….
