The doctor was not available to speak to me for the entire last week of my husband's life. Every day when I arrived I asked to see her, every night on departure I left my phone number at reception, requesting that the doctor call me. She never did. Family support? Feedback on the condition of the patient? NO. Every single day there was a wait of up to an hour for pain relief. One day there were 3 nurses on duty, for 20+ patients... The final insult came when my husband died, alone in the middle of the night. I'd promised him I would be there holding his hand and all the staff knew this. Nobody called me. The doctor told me later that it had been expected that he would die that night. Telling me this later is not good enough. How can an already stressful situation like the death of your husband be made even more stressful? Read the above. Steer clear of this place. Don't believe the glossy brochures. One star for the decor.
