A great shopping mall. It's a little hard to traverse this area as there is a bottom storey and a top storey but it's a great plaza in Cabramattta.nThere are ingredients for foods for Chinese places, Vietnamese places, etc. There are fresh produce like squid, fish, and other seafood. Great shopping plaza.
Shopping place. A different flavour within the city. Good for fresh vegetables, fish and Chinese and Vietnamese food items/ingredients.nParking is little tricky, but you can find paid parking in the mall building. Bargain is pretty normal here. Food is really good and cheap. Don’t miss to try coconut milk drinks.
This place is just 5 to 7 minutes walk from the train station, as shown in the photo of the fast food store.nThe prices are very reasonable and the quantity is also worth .nI bought a medium fries cost me 5.50 and 2 wings which is 2$ each and that too a good size .nTheir chips is just sooo good and tasty with the salts and reasoning.nLoved it !nI will go again for sure
Cabramatta Plaza is a vibrant happening place on a Sunday lunchtime. It really does have the feel of a small town in Vietnam. Actually that was the reason for my visit today. To recreate Vietnam with a sprinkling of Cambodia. Almost saved me an airfare.nnI really forgot I was in Sydney Australia at times. I have been here 20 years ago and it really has not changed. If anything it is more of Vietnamese sub culture than before.nnOld ladies selling medical plants on the streets, arriving on bicycles to set up store. Bubble tea houses, cafes and restaurants. It's a maze of interlocking markets with main streets and markets. Really fresh fruit and veg, especially mangoes. Fish markets, and grocery stores and nic nac shops just like Asia. Jewelry shops yellow with gold. Signs in Vietnamese, all over the place. Also clothes up for grabs at good prices.nnThe population is 90 percent of Asian decent but it is not a ghetto. This area is a strong community, but it is friendly and welcoming to the outsider.nnI had a duck and noodle soup , and went about with my camera. On the way back to the station I nearly purchased a puppy dog for sale on the street.nnHighly recommended for a wander on the weekend and a spot to eat and food shopping .
Highly recommend for Asian culture experience. Good foods and fun games, many activities for kids with an amazing dragon dance and a small firework show to complete a full moon FEST .nSee you next year this month.
