We're looking at a working railway station that tries - and achieves - the very best public service imaginable. It's compact and accessible, well maintained, and serviceable. Car park for commuters. Admittedly no cafe on premises but just across from the bus stops and carpark is CJ's, with eats and superb coffee. All-in-all, a well designed transport hub.
Reasonably well designed & laid out for Queensland Rail.nnIt also has CJ's Pastries across the road, which has great food & coffee .nn+ the Caboolture Sports Club is just around the corner.nnThe show grounds nearby & a biking, hiking trail heading west towards Kilcoy.
This has been my local train station for almost 3 decades - I do not feel safe being here or parking my car at this station. The parking design is atrocious and if one side is full you have to drive ages around to the other side! If you can drive to Morayfield, get on there instead and avoid this place. The little kiosk inside the station bumps this review up 1 star.
Clean, wheel chair access great.easy to get to trains buses and taxis. Also lots if places to sit and toilets are clean.
On Saturday 22nd of April at approximately 4:30pm my 39 week pregnant sister attempted to catch a train from Caboolture train station to Brisbane city. She was using a gift card to purchase the ticket however the clerk behind the window would not accept the gift card, instead she questioned if the card was hers and refuse to let her buy the ticket. After calling me in tears, my sister again approached the clerk asking her for help. Again the clerk refused and my sister not wanting to be embarrassed further left the station and walked home. The blatant racism that was shown by this clerk and the unwillingness to help a pregnant girl get on the train is an absolute disgrace. My sister could have ignored the rules and just got on the train without a ticket however she did the right thing, attempted to buy a ticket and asked for help. If your job is customer service to support people to catch public transport then help. Absolutely disgusted in the clerks behaviour.
