I attended today with my toddler and had a wonderful experience. All staff were friendly, helpful and very kind to to both me and my boy.nThe wait time was long, but reasonable considering it's flu season and the weekend.nMaddy, the lady at reception was the star of the day. She was super helpful and went beyond the expectations of administration. Very admirable!nI'm giving 4 stars as I reckon a few more doctors should be rostered during this season, and at the weekend when most GPs are closed.nBut I can't fault the service, treatment or facilities.nGreat work Caboolture Satellite Hospital
Every single staff member we encountered during our visit were amazing! Such an incredible service, feeling very fortunate to have this facility in the area. This satellite hospital will definitely be our preference should we need emergency care in the future. Absolutely recommend!
I attended on Anzac Day, early afternoon. Was approached by a nurse within ten minutes who advised me in regard to a head injury. Reassured me and I was in and out within 15 minutes. Fantastic service, excellent staff. What a great idea these satellite hospitals are.
The most inefficient place.. Too many nurses and not enough doctors. The reviews stating they wish they could give no stars are so right! These people just don't want to do their job. Absolutely useless.. What a waste of money this place is.nWent in to be told will need an x-ray but the x-ray machine is broken and won't be fixed until 5pm and to come back then. Come back at 5pm to wait another 2 and a half hours to then get no x-ray and just get an arm support I could have bought from the chemist. Biggest joke this place is. Absolutely ridiculous. The nurses spent the whole time in a little chat and snack circle while one doctor tried to get through the patients. I don't understand why there was so many nurses that were able to do nothing for anybody that came in and only one doctor on seeing patients? Maybe if there were less nurses doing nothing and atleast 2 doctors on to get through the patients, it might run more efficiently. Whatever I just experienced was not at all efficient use of taxpayers money. This place is disgraceful and I would recommend going anywhere else but here.
Husband was in agony with 8/10 lower back pain and was having difficulty sitting for too long. He was given some pain medication and asked to wait for the Dr. To be seen. There was him and another person in the waiting area and it was not even that busy and had to sit and wait for 2.5 hrs with pain. Eventually had to leave without seen the Doctor while the health professionals were having a chill in the station chatting and giggling. Didn't even ask how was his pain when we said we are leaving now. The only response was 'oh OK I will get you off the list'.
