I had a rather urgent medical situation. My local Medical Centre could not accommodate me and suggested the Satellite Health Centre at Coboolture.nOn arrival the administration staff very helpful. After taking all my particulars most of all the information is on myHealth. I did not have to wait long and Dr. Geoff attended to me - he assured me that everything will be taken care of - decissions were made - and Nurse Kate and Nurse Sherry looked after me - thank you to all the team.nA very professional run Clinic, a modern and clean environment and plenty of parking.nThank you to all the staff that make this possible.
Really disappointed with the care my cousin received at Caboolture Satellite Hospital. She had stood on 2 rusted nails and her foot became very infected, yet no doctor properly cleaned or treated the wound. After waiting hours to be seen while caring for two toddlers under the age of 3, she was only given scripts and told to take medication before being sent home.nnI understand hospitals can be busy, but I truly feel my cousin did not receive the proper care, attention, or treatment she deserved in this situation. It was upsetting seeing her in pain and leaving without the wound being properly attended to.
I have been admitted throughout my pregnacy and the staff and doctors have been amazing and made me feel comfortable and cared for. The dedication of their nurses are above and beyond. Would be happy to go back and recommend them.
Couldn’t praise the entire staff enough. I went in feeling pretty unwell was seen in a timely manner, treated with respect and care and the Dr took his time to listen to what had been going on and I walked out feeling better than expected
The staff at the front counter were polite and friendly, the nurse was very helpful. I did have hope for my second visit to this satellite hospital. It was swiftly dashed upon meeting the Dr I was assigned. Being treated for a possible blood clot, in any area of the body is a serious matter. The Dr looked at me and told me to go to the Hub medical centre and hopefully get a scan, then return for some blood thinners??nGot to the Hub at 4:40pm, their radiography department closes at 2pm. The nurses and Dr there were dumbfounded. I saw a Dr at the Hub who gave me a form to have the scan on Monday and the follow up care that the satellite hospital Dr should have provided. Careless and unprofessional are words that come to mind.
