I can’t get excited at all about fish that has lots of bones in it, crumbed/battered fried fish shouldn’t have bones. I could excuse 1 maybe but lots in both pieces. I can’t get excited about the chips either, really not sure why everyone says this is the best fish and chips on the central coast. So glad I didn’t try the others if that’s the case. The burger was edible but only just.
Easy place to stop at for a hamburger and some fish n chips. Reasonably priced and nice to be able to get an old fashioned style hamburger with the lot. Much tastier and cheaper than any Maccas burger.

OK takeaway food, customer service..zero. rude abrupt Man,I asked the Girl politely for a receipt and he was very aggressive towards me,even shaking his head at me,like I am stupid Would not go here again. Feel very sorry for the staff he employs.
Had not been there for years, staff still so friendly and still the best chips. Husband enjoyed his seafood basket and such generous portions.
An absolute Central Coast institution. Run by the same wife and husband for 30+ years. Best fish and chips on the coast hands down. Forget the chip "portion" boxes etc this is the real deal. Plenty of salt, calamari always mint and the fish is as fresh as you can get. Don't forget to grab a seafood sauce or tartare sauce jar from them if that's your thing. Also bring an empty stomach. Byth'ys with leave you full as! Anyone who is local will attest to this! Just be wary on school holiday and Christmas holidays it can get wild. So you might need to get your wait on. Cheers for the best chips on the coast!
Great food but I won't be going back due to the horrible attitude and lack of customer service from the owner. First time I was in there was a public holiday and they were busy. His comment not to me, to my partner was "you'd think all these women would learn to cook at home instead of coming in here". I laughed thinking he was making a light hearted joke but he was deadly serious. Most recent visit to the shop I witnessed an elderly man asking for some extra salt on his chips. The owner replied "there's already salt on there....all these people always wanting something for nothing...unbelievable". The poor elderly man walked out in disbelief. We ordered chips and asked for them to be cooked in separate oil due to one of us having gluten intolerance. When we received our chips they had been mixed with battered fish. We explained that this would make my daughter very sick and asked for a new batch of chips. We were met with rolling eyes, sighs, and a frankly pathetic attitude. Great food, but not worth the derogatory comments or hideous customer service.
So disappointing that the food is great but the lady that takes telephone orders is so so rude! 1st she yells at me, then hangs up on me! She's bad for business!
The best fish and chips on the Central coast!!
2 hoki, chips, potato scallops and a drink for less than $20! Fish was good sized as was the portion of chips. Crispy and got all round. Service was pretty quick and friendly. We will definitely be back!
