Steak & mushroom pie was delicious, and the barista coffee was even better! I’m only regretting not getting a danish or one of the fresh cream pastries from the display. There was a sandwich bar also.nA range of preserves were also available, all looked very nice.
To find such variety and vegan options in a country town is amazing. The husband of the owner is celiac so this makes sense. The pricing is reasonable and the food great. Inside and outside seating available. Brilliant find!
Would definitely recommend! Don’t know what people are complaining about; the sign outside must be there for a reason people being ignorant and not patient. We had lunch here and they started preparing the kids’ toasties right away so they didn’t have to wait for their food which is great having a hungry 1 and 4-year old. Food tasted excellent and everything was served with a smile. Reasonably priced as well lunch for 4 was 54$. Had coffees to go the day after and got those same smiles and good service. Easy parking with our RV across the road.
Right in the centre of Hyden town is this beautiful roadside bakery. We stopped by for a quick snack after visiting the Wave Rock before we continued our journey. The burgers were delicious. The staff possibly the owners were very friendly. This place is definitely a place to stop to relax when you visit the Wave Rock.
The food was good, however the wait for coffee and food was ridiculous. It wasn't super busy and yet everything took an extremely long time. No communication from the person serving to advise of a delay, but when the food finally arrived and we enquired about the coffees we had ordered they said there is a bit of a wait on them. We had finished our breakfast by the time the coffee came out.nnI would not come here again.
