Amazing company dinner today.. It's my pleasure , I will let more people know and they can enjoy the delicious food at Deux Soeurs Many thanks to Owner Jack and the staff Vernon is very nice and friendly. Welcoming atmosphere I'm vegetarian the chef will serve me the vegetarian risotto , really tasty.. Thanksgiving The food all was super filling and high quality. We are so happy and definitely come back.
Quality food. Good service. Quiet and comfortable environment. Easy Parking. Reasonable price. Kid meals. The food was very good! The day special Escargot a la bourguignonne French Snail with parsley purée, cream and white wine, it gave me surprise not only mouthful creamy flavor but the snail didn't look like a snail as they served it without the shell. The entrée Soupe a l’oignon French Onion soup has rich of flavor especially with a piece of garlic bread on top which it has absorbed the soup, the texture was good in my mouth. The 2 main course dishes I tried, Filet de boeuf beef eye fillet with chips and Cotelette de porc pork cutlet, both meats were tender and good, and the essence of both dishes were not the meat itself but the accompaniment, it enriches the taste and flavor of the meats. I do like the seeded mustard paste, it well match with with beef eye fillet. The potato gratin and fruit salsa served with the pork cutlet, is a good healthier balance choice. They have kids meals and tasted "yum" my kid told me, so you don't need to worry about the red and white wine used for simmer meats and create rich sauces in their food. This restarant is located 1 min drive or 1 km from Westfield Southland shopping centre, if don't want to drive too far to get quality French food, here is the place to go! I made the booking via google map / TheFolk, of course they accept via the old fashion way...phone reservation.
I'm so surprised such a high quality French Cuisine at Highett ! Thanks for my client introduced me to here. The portion are great size, food are very delicious and not too expensive compare to other French restaurant near CBD. I will bring my family to here ! Thanks Head Chef -Jack !
The food here is excellent and the staff work hard to deliver a top shelf experience. The restaurant has staff in training and they also offer uniquely high value across the food and beverage range. Highly recommended, but please be patient with front of house, who have good training, but are in some cases starting out in their careers.
Beautifully cooked lamb backstrap with vegetables.. love it.. Bagette with butter was served generously
A really great meal. It was better than our expectations and a great find. Being in a hotel, we weren't expecting the standard of food. It wasn't busy, so hopefully a little marketing might help get the custom they deserve.
Had an amazing experience here for dinner! We tried all the chef recommendations, everything was lovely and very flavorful! The chef and staff were all very friendly. Definitely would come back for another visit. Thank you!
Really nice food . I have to say all dishes are well presented. Love the scollop especially, seasoning prefect and the taste is well balanced. Good service as well. Restaurant staffs are quite friendly and helpful. Definitely will back again.
Have been meaning to check this place out... finally had an occasion that suited it... casual no horty torty or is it hoity toity... even the spelling is all #%^£ haha Anyhooooo.... very pleasantly surprised... and reasonably priced.. the best would have been the snails rice. I mean the escargot risotto; also tried the 4 cheese ravioli and Bouillabaisse. Overall the dishes were quite good and the experience? Welll come in here and set ur expectations down to a local Parisian burb with a family owned feel... ranned place.. with hearty meals...... this is what busby reminds me of... not perfect but has character. It wont make it into the cbd but will definitely give the local villagers a damn good feed.
